Awesome. But i have to say that the velvet is kinda ugly to look at.
Can you make a version in red?

The noble case looks amazing as does the exterior of the dwemer case. However, just personal taste I guess, but I don't like the red and black pattern inside the dwemer case. It's exterior is awesome but I think the inside takes away from it. Plus, it is to "busy" to really highlight something put into it. Just my opinions. But great job on both.

I'm actually with you on the inside pattern of the dwe case. There's a few improvements I'll be making once i see more comments, and I'll also add some variation options for different themes (Vampire, etc)...those patterns are super easy to change. Thx!!

Both variants look quite cool, but also a bit flat. You might want to reiterate your normal maps to give them some more structure.

Thx for the feedback! I'm still pretty noob at texturing and modeling, so any critisism helps. I'll play with the normals and see if I can make it pop more.

Any normal map experts out there I'm open to tips...seems like i either get it too grainy or not bumpy enough

I think it's not only a problem of the normals being too grtainy or something. At least from the current screenshots, stuff like the lock and metal decorations on the noble variant look a bit like they are painted on instead of being a raised surface.

There quite a lot of people on the nexus that make great textures and as far as I know, most of them are quite nice too. I think looking at the most popular texture mods and checking out the comments might be a good way to get a feeling on who to ask.

This is a good idea. The texture itself is amazing, but adding some maps would give it great depth.

For a custom texture, I think you have to make custom maps... can't help you there.

Can we have a version of this with the velvet in red?

Possible to ad wood carving, or maybe silver carving (like you see on modern day western saddles) to decorate the uber smooth wood?

    Thanks for the great mod

    EDIT:
I uploaded a couple of pictures.... its GORGEOUS...
A red & gold version of the velvet nap would be awesome!

First of all I want to thank you for this great mod!

But I've got a problem. I put Weapons in the displays. Now I took them back to put another weapon in this display. But It isn't possible. I can click "E" to activate... But nothing happened. I hope you can help me with this problem

This mod just changes the texture of the display case, doesn't affect the activators that make placing/taking weapons from a display case in any way.

Excellent detail work on the noble version and an interesting concept on the dwemer version. Some questions:

Would you consider making a lighter wood version?

How about a dwemer version based off of langley's "dwemer metal retexture? (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35608/?)

What wood texture are you using for your floors and woodbeam in your screenshots? (From any particular texture pack, etc?)

Looking forward to other variations and projects you do. Keep up the good work and thanks for your time.

Great work! The inside of the Dwemer one could use a fix, but the fact that you even decided to make this is awesome enough. Thanks!

I like this! I took the "noble" case. It would seem to me, that if you had something worthwhile to display, you would want it in a case that was befitting the object! Something that would stand out as if to say...look at me...This case certainly draws your attention! Excellent job! Every "noble" home should have noble cases!
