Does anyone know of a way to get Thorald and CO to equip better stuff? They are *quest* followers. This is all I want in life. All I want in life is a way to get three 1hand+heavy dudes out of 2hand+light and into proper equipment. I brought them all full heavy suits, bows, arrows, weapons, and shields.
But this mod does not allow them to pick up anything.
Plllllease anyone. Is there a mod that can let me equip quest followers? Or make them pick up cool stuff out of combat?
1) Can this mod be replaced by Mixed Unit Tactics' Loot the area command?
2) From fully automatic mode's description:
If a follower takes item from the ground, he won't drop conflicting objects to the ground (the beta version did that, but there are serious issues with item disappearing), however they will remain in his inventory unequipped.
In this scenario, if the equipped item breaks (like when using Loot and Degradation), will the follower equip the backup one?
3) On Manual Mode can they only loot from containers?

But if the follower uneqip broken items, he/she will prefer the option you provide. Please, note that it will work only on preparations (this mod doesn't affect combat mechanics).

this mod would go great with the servants mod. the servants would disperse the loot into different chests, then your army would take the loot and use it. this will be awesome. u need more endorsements.
looks like a great mod, though only thing I am wondering is. If your disarmed, and can not find your weapons (due to droping under floor/ground or flew though a wall), could you remove all weapons from follower and have them search for weapons?
You don't have to remove weapons from follower. They will pick any weapon and decide will they equip the item or not. So, yes, you cam use the feature to search items.
HOWEVER, if the item is flew through a floor/wall, there is no guarantee that NPCs can access it, because they should PHYSICALLY approach the object, just like the player.
