ok i've looked at some comments and i really want to try out this mod via downloading it from mod organizer v2 and i have a few questions, 1. does this work with custom race mods and imperious (i think that's the name idk still recovering from brain surgery.), 2. i've looked in the comments and noticed that there's a sound folder which is apparently different from voices, is there a better explanation? 3. can i install this during a current play through and have it still work? 4. can i install it through mod organizer v2 and it still work perfectly fine? sorry if that was a lot i'm just curious bc i want to try out this mod.
1. If they use vanilla voices (which is most likely the case), then yes 2. The voices are inside the sound folder 3. Yeah, you can install/uninstall at any time 4. I haven't personally used mod organizer v2, but if it can install other mods it should have no problem with this one
ok so turns out i was just over thinking it, works like a charm, who knew helium made shouts more powerful lmao, but seriously thank you, this mod is a godsend, even if it does just the shouts, still thank you for answering my questions, may your modding career be problem free! sky above, helium voice within. :>
The preview video seems to be working fine for me. It's just on Youtube, no idea why it's not playing for you. Try a direct link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F96i-b3AwpI
I took a long break from Skyrim. I'm kinda back right now, but now sure how long it will last.
It says the video is private, so even with a direct link, we are unable to view it. Since it is your video, you have the required permissions to view it.
Can this by any chance be used to overwrite the shout for a voice pack mod that replaces all the sounds your character makes? I'm using a voice mod that makes all the sounds that the female dragon born makes sound a bit more feminine. But the person that made the mod also replaced the shouts. Instead of re-voicing the shouts, they just replaced ALL of them with the same "HAHH!" sound. It's kinda annoying and immersion breaking that they don't say the words for the shouts.
The voice mod I'm using is called 'KUNOICHI female voice'. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17736
Make sure you load my this after the other one if you use a mod manager. If you installed them manually then install this mod again and overwrite everything.
Hi! I love the sound of this, and it seems it should be relatively easy to use. I’ve installed it using the NMM which put a file into the “sounds” folder so it’s there but doesn’t seem to play in game. I’m not using a custom race. Is there anything else I need to do to install this? Or if I were to manually install it should I take the AIO folder or it’s contents somewhere other than “sounds?” Thanks in advance, this is perfect and I hope to use it soon!
It's been a while since I looked at this, but I think the folder structure should be Skyrim/data/sound/voice/... So yeah, the sound folder goes inside the data. Is your folder called "sounds"? It should just be "sound".
Woah I haven’t been back here in awhile, I just played without it... wop wop... Ok lemme check directory name and try again, it’ll be fun to have in the game!
Hi...I like the sound of this mod, literally. But I can't get it to work. I'm using the teenager race, which has grunts etc when wielding weapons......but absolutely nothing for the shouts. I downloaded with NMM, and nothing, still completely silent on the shouts....any advice welcomed! Thanks.
Maybe that race uses a custom, non-vanilla directory for the sounds. You could try identifying it and copying the voices from this mod to the appropriate folder.
Thanks for getting back so quick..........yes, I see what you mean. My problem seems to be identifying the 'non vanilla directory'. The only thing I can find is an esp for the different teen races in my Data folder. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to put the voices...........sorry to be a pain, but have you any idea what I'm missing? Thanks!
I don't think I will. Do those races have shout voices without my mod installed? If not then it's not me who should be doing the fixing. If they do then I simply don't know how to do it.
Yes,it's great, and i hope if you can make a similar mod for combat voice just like this.Making combat voices much more brighter and lovely is OK.Sorry my english is not very good.^_^
There are a few mods like that on the Nexus already. There are some kawaii anime-style ones, or you can just download "player voicesets" that lets you choose one of the other vanilla voices for your character.
I did the shouts because I could only find 1 mod for them, and that one doesn't have DLC shouts.
