I don't really sure about this though...I have level 36 in pickpocket and a perk for gauntlet in heavy armor and I single handed beat a whole camp of Imperial without healing or using racial ability nor armor since I'm wearing unarmored clothes (I'm playing as an Argonian btw). And I'm playing in Expert
I try to port unarmed sperg patch from le to sse, but I am a nob in modding. The only thing what I could make so far, porting the mod to sse but it want work. I need some help how to creat a dependence, between sperg.esp and the unarmed sperg patch, or how to replace the perks, like brigand brew through hboxer.
Hmm, I am considering trying this unarmed combat mod, I think it will be great, of what i have read it seems very balanced and not to overpowering yet, remains viable at higher levels, going to try these others, and than i will most likely save the best for last eh
I really love this mod, my only thing now, is I find it difficult to get a chance to even level up. Picking pocketing might be quick on XP, but there's also a chance your gonna fail. And I honestly hate pick pocketing in skyrim, not all that good at it. So to even get one of this hand to hand perks, is going to require me failing and probably going to jail a hundred times before I ever get a chance to actually become good at hand to hand. Which seems awefully weird to me. I sorta agree that having its own tree might be a good thing, but moving it over to one handed could be a good alternate as well.
Just my two cents. Thanks for listening! I often use a skill cheat mod, that lets me up my pick pocketing just so I can get a perk from that tree.

Huh, are you using SPERG and the community uncapper? From my understanding, the pickpocket tree using hand to hand levels just as fast as using one handed.
While yes, actually pickpocketing will be faster however it is just an option and is entirely dependent on your playstyle/roleplaying. I personally never found it as an issue. Maybe its because im using Character Creation Overhaul which I would recommend using.
Love it, love everything about this mod. Take my endorsement. Only minor thing is there's a typo in your Opportunist perk. This is listed as "Opprotunist" instead. Very minor, but I just thought you should know.
Kudos on a fun mod! A couple of comments/suggestions. First, I'd recommend a companion Nexus mod called Favourite Fists. You can use a hotkey to empty both your hands - otherwise, it's pretty tedious to unequip a spell. Second, the SPERG perk tree for one-handed has several perks that increase your attack speed. Dual wield, use these perks and get the Elemental Fury dragon shout, and you can buzz-saw your way through most opponents. I'd say the unarmed attack should at least be as fast as someone swinging a sword, so I'd recommend some additional perks that increase attack speed. Maybe less emphasis on damage and more on speed. Alternatively, you might be able to modify the Elemental Fury shout so that unarmed attacks were also affected. Final note - Pickpocketing is one of the quickest trees to move up, if you actually pickpocket. One good gem = one/two levels in the early stages. Unarmed doesn't level you up nearly as fast. This has driven my unarmed, monkish character who specializes in restoration into a life of petty thievery (though I do try to give the proceeds to the needy). Might want to increase the experience gained by unarmed to be more in line with actual pickpocketing.
Just my $0.02. Good work and well worth a new game to try out!

I dont quite understand what you're saying here. I know for sure that in SPERG you can turn the fists in an actual weapon item via MCM and changing the equip to manual or hotkey if that answers your question.

In my opinion, making it focus more on speed will make it feel like you're dual wielding daggers with a stagger ability more than anything else. The direction I was going for was something that can be inbetween a sword/shield and dual wielding gameplay. Something that utilizes the defensiveness with the sword/shield via staggers, and the raw offensive power of dual wielding via attack speed all the while not being as fast as typical dual wielding but dealing massive power attack damage. While the power attack is slow, it is rewarding when connected. But in order to successfully connect the power attacks, you must decide when its the best opportunity to stagger them. You could say its a risk and reward type of gameplay. As for the elemental fury, I was unaware that it doesnt effect it so thanks for the heads up!
"Pickpocketing is one of the quickest trees to move up, if you actually pickpocket. One good gem = one/two levels in the early stages. Unarmed doesn't level you up nearly as fast." I see, I never noticed the slow skill progression probably because I was using other mods that helps makes you actually specialize in a class rather than being the jack of all trades in vanilla. But I'll make those adjustments when I learn how to. Thank you for bringing these up
I could but when making this mod I took out the things I didn't particularly like and replaced them with perks that I feel that would be better suited for an Unarmed playstyle. Plus I didnt know how to create a separate branch at the time with the lack of internet and only found out later. But the former is more of the reason much so than the later.
That's just my opinions and feelings on the original perks.
A bit of both actually. The main direction I was trying to make I guess was to be a technical fighter to make your punches count. The Boxer perk makes you attack faster and to me thats smoother especially since I added an additional 10% increase of speed only to the left arm so that way you actually have a reason to use both arms! Hard Hitter makes you hit... harder lol. Making your uppercut (crouching unarmed attack) stagger opponents and makes your power attacks actually worthwhile. Especially dual unarmed power attack.
Hope that answers some of your questions lol and thank you! Hope you enjoy my mod as much as I do myself!

edit: I'm being serious, by the way. Punching NPCs raises the Pickpocket skill, too.
Keep up the fantastic work!

This is what Squashy wants to do all day! Just Punch,Punch,Punch!!
Will this make Squashy a 'smooother' Puncher, or, is it more of a 'hits hurt more' kind of mod?
Thanks for the mod, and the answers...
(hope there are answers... )
Hope that answers some of your questions lol and thank you! Hope you enjoy my mod as much as I do myself!
Squashy is gonna dust off the knuckle-dusters and come out Swingin'!
ENDORSIFICATIONALIZATED!
