Whenever I have an active quest, it still shows the location of the quest on the world map (probably on the location map too).
It is pretty annoying, cause whenever you get a quest, it's automatically set to active, you always have to disactivate it to continue without any spoil.
Thanks, actually i like that removes markers from maps, tried to find something that removes marker from local map, and this do the job, along with even better quests mod, this makes great skyrim experience.
does this enable you to sleep when enemies are not within visual? if not then please try to work this out, its a pain in the ass to be unable to rest because some troll or wolf is attacking someone else where you cant find them, intead having to travel halfway across skyrim to sleep in a tavern
No. The mod only does exactly what's on the tin, and nothing else.
You should be searching for a mod along the lines of "Allow rest and fast travel while enemies are nearby". I don't know whether it actually exists but that's what I would search for.

It has a little bug with NMM though: When installing through Nexus Mod Manager, the file ends up in
Data\No Quest Markers or Enemies on Compass\Interface\Exported\hudmenu.gfx
instead of
Data\Interface\Exported\hudmenu.gfx
