Hey, It's been a while since you have posted this mod and since I've downloaded it, and I really liked it as it has been revealed, I know that it may seem strange as there is already a plenty of witcher-like armors around Nexus, but I would really like to see your unique version of this armor, as your armor seems to me much more realistic. If not, well, it's fully understandable, I really hope that you will read this message, if you do, remember, you're awesome! Back in 2015 I was playing Witcher 3 a lot and was looking for the mod with it's armor or weapons, and your mod really made my Skyrim walkthrough great, thank you!

I did read this I forgot to reply...being that this is a crazy year lol. I already have been working on some older mods to update and I do want to come back to this eventually. I wish to update this completely for both Skyrim and SkyrimSE.

They're from a witcher related mod, can't remember off the top of my head though but there aren't many.

Playing "Witcher 3" now, love that armor and this!

In Skyrim, complete sets of armor matter, so could there be matching boots and gauntlets? Please?

Meanwhile, you've been playing with this armor longer than the rest of us, can you recommend a good aesthetic match in 'light armor' for this set?
I've been using steel gauntlets/boots artistically, but they are a poor match for set strength. Perhaps Nightengale, if there is a Black version? Mithril? (I think too shiny) Problem is, there are no "Silver" armors I know of.

Wonderful so far. Endorsed, of course.

Please, finish the set in whatever manner you choose.

I actually currently use Fine Boots and Imperial gauntlets lol. I'm thinking of retexturing the thieves guild boots and the imperial or blades gauntlets.

This is REALLY nice armor! I like it MUCH better than the Daedric I have been waring. The Witcher looks less bulky, more stylish. I used Blades Boots and Gauntlets as I thought it goes better with the outfit. You might want to consider making boots and gauntlets that really match the armor. This Witcher armor can be fortified and enchanted...I like that! It doesn't take a half dozen ingredients to make it either...I really appreciate that! Thanks for my new armor, you get my endorsement!
I'm glad to see you have this armor on your "to-do" list for female, LOVE to have this for my female followers! (CBBE please!)

the 4k version looks a lot better, nicely done.
You can save half the vram by saving in dxt1.
Do you consider retexturing the rest of the texture, too?

thank you and yes I have plans to do a complete retexture its a little tricky finding the right textures for the belts, etc. It does make a lot more sense to compress in Dxt1 my program just auto compressed to dxt3. Focusing right now on the female version and then the final touches.

Edit: theres a slight problem compressing normal maps in dxt1 they don't quite work. The texture it self is fine compressed that way.

Spider, have you tried using the "Normalize only" option of the NVIDIA DDS tools? Once you're done with your normal map, go to "Filter->NVIDIA Tools->NormalMapFilter..." and then just leave everything as default but tick the "Add Height to Normal Map" (if you prefer) and under "Alternate Conversions" select "Normalize only" then hit OK and you should be ready to save as DXT1, if you're using an alpha channel obviously save as the ARGB type! It would be nice if you do uncompressed versions though (save as 8.8.8 or 8.8.8. for those who are insane for both your diffuse and normal maps!
