Really great mod, thanks for sharing it. This is the only soul gem mod that add visual difference between full and empty/partly full without using a esp, and in this esp limiting days it is a very welcomed feature.
Only the fully charged soul gem would glow because the game engine assigned the glowing mesh only to the fully charged soul gems. The 3rd picture I posted showed this.
A snapshot can't show the refraction and the inner layer, but I uploaded a picture showing before and after with or without ENB. EDIT: I just uploaded a video showing the black soul gem and the greater soul gem in the inventory view.
Doing glow or animation will require a mod ESP file. I'll try and see.
Just tried the Rustic soulgem mod, and it made this mod less crystal looking and matte looking. You'll need to do some manual steps if you want to try it out yourself. 1. Install the Roustic mod or another soul gem mod first. 2. Move or delete to recycle the files from the textures/clutter/soulgem/soulgem*.dds 3. Install my mod, and overwrite files. 4. Move back or restore from recycle the Roustic files to the textures/clutter/soulgem directory.
Rustic Soulgems requires the mesh edits from that mod to also be in place to get the proper effect, and the transparency effect is done via the mesh, so no it wouldn't be compatible anyway.

Also since you mentioned the outer layer texture has to be transparent, would Rustic soulgems be compatible since its texture has transparency?
