I just found this by chance and am blown away. My favourite Amulets (I mean the divine Amulets) combined into one? Sweet! And I like that the effect of Gauldur's Amulet are included.
I would have loved a requirement to visit all Temple of the Devines too though and to, I don't know "collect" something from each Aedra or better yet, have to do a quest for each of them with the reward of a "shard of [Aedra]" that has to be used in the creation of the Amulet, perhaps together with a Dragon soul, even. I just think that while this is amazing, don't get me wrong, it's still far too easy to achieve such a thing. And it would be awesome if there were an additional different look.
What I would have also loved, as another reviewer said, would have been some obscure journal found on- I don't know, a corpse, maybe - pointing to a Legend (a derilict book with a few pages missing) and detailing the pour soul's sadly failed quest to achieve the Amulet of the Nines. This legend could leave it a bit ambiguous even how exactly the Amulet of the Nines can be created, so that the poor wo/man had actually been chasing after the wrong way to achieve all this.
If you do decide to do this - I would even offer my help. Actual programming aside (apologies), I could help with voicing if you want to go there or even story.
I have a question, since I am using skyrim redone my Gaulder Amulet is 50 to all 3 instead of only 30 and a 25% Regen boost to all 3 stats. Will using it in the crafting of this still put those effects or only 30? If it does not do you think it would be much trouble to make a version for skyrim redone that adds those instead of 30?
If the enchantment is the same from vanilla (probably is), yes, it will reduce to 30. I don't know if SkyRe patch takes as long as Perkus Maximus', but I'll guess it does. So, just open TES5Edit and edit the enchantment in SkyRe Patch. It's pretty simple and straightforward.
My two cents here is make a version that does not involve the Gauldur amulet, but does involve visiting all the temples of the nine Aedra. I guess in the case of Talos you'd visit his thing out in the wilderness. That's just what I think. I like that you can't just be given this, but don't like having to sacrifice the Gaulder Amulet.
I agree. Some say the Gaulder Amulet is useless. I find it more useful than the Saarthal Amulet by far. Still, this would be a far more interesting mod if you discover the Amulet of the nine's existence through a journal or a rare book. Then, to obtain it, you have to do a mini quest for each amulet to bless it. The amulet of Akatosh would be the final amulet quest to do since he is the chief deity. It is he who would offer the knowledge to forge the Amulet of the Nine. After forging the amulet, it must be presented to Akatosh for activation. Maybe allowing you to forge another after gaining the knowledge using the same ritual path. Hours of gameplay at the cost of gaining one. Also, I would throw this loop in the mix: It only has full power for one with the dragonblood. For others it reaches 50% of its full power.
You don't really sacrifice it, the Gauldur Amulet's effects are included as well as the blessed amulets effects, so you get all the amulets rolled into one.
Did the description say anything about lore friendly? Did it even have the words "lore" or "friendly" in the description? The answer to both of those questions is no. Sorry if I seem a bit rude, but no one cares.
