If you're having furniture problems i feel bad for you son.. i got 99 problems but furniture aint one..
On a serious note.. DO NOT buy the "children's room" expansion, and your balcony / crafting room wont get blocked off.. This is just a FYI, for people who refuse to read the mod's description.
Very nice! This has quickly become one of my favorite vanilla-home overhauls. However, there are two glitches: The lighting in the crafting room spazzes out (I hear this is some kind of mesh issue). And the things sitting on the four corners of the central area (workbench, sharpening wheel, and two racks of fake ingots) are not actually on the ground but levitating a whole lot. Feature request: The racks of fake ingots serve no purpose but could be made into convenient containers right near the crafting stations.
I've been trying Vlindrel Hall remakes. Here are my notes on this one:
"Wow. Really stunning. Heavy on the Dwemer decor, lavishly panelled in dwarven metal. You get a wonderfully eerie sense of having stepped back in time to when Markarth was new. The finest example of Dwemer metal craftsmanship in Tamriel. Loads of artifacts too. Calcelmo would go completely nuts. Huge, arcane forging hall. Some lighting issues. Much of the furniture is static. I don't think this is a place you'd just casually buy, and you'd never decorate it for what the steward charges. This bears sitting around and thinking about, and designing a character around."
Oh: minor conflict with the Vlindrel Balcony mod. There's a big, um...dormer? that intrudes on it. But it's one-piece amd non-functional, so just click it, open the console and type "disable," and problem solved.
I really enjoyed your snazzy screenshots so I gave it a try. Upon entering Vlindrel Hall, my FPS drops to the point where I can barely move. I shut down the game a tried again, but no luck. If I use the in-game test character and just COC to VlindrelHall then it's fine, but if I go in there with a character that already paid for all the Vlindrel house upgrades, then it's snail-city. I only have 1 character that owns Vlindrel already, so I don't know if it's just this character, or if the problem is related to vanilla house upgrades.
Is this mod dead? There's some sort of error that won't allow NMM to finish downloading it, Which sucks cause the from the video, the overhaul looks really nice. I love the color scheme.
weird.. its probably just NMM. its only one file for the manual install just copy the .esp file to your data folder and turn it on and off via NMM problem solved sorry for the late reply.
