As you asked in your description I made a NMM installer for you with all the options for more convenient installation, I did PM you a while ago but still no answer.
If you want I upload the fixed mod but I prefer a new version with corrections. Thanks. Link http://www.megafileupload.com/qjkK/Death_Hound_HD_Compressed_Pack.7z
The mod is look great but only works if you setting Texture Quality High. The texture Death Hound HD 1K red is the same skin hte black version 1k. Zombie version 1k it's ok. I fix the mod 1k and 2k using Optimizer Texures http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/?
They look much better. I disagree with Zero5906. The old textures looked really old and distorted. The new ones look really good. This mod doesn't cost an esp plugin so it's all good : )
This looks amazing, Death hounds were definitely a creature that needed some touching up. My only critique would be that the blue/green colour of the eyes takes a bit away from their vampiric/scary factor for me.
A yellow or red tone would work great for a vampire hound imo, though I can see how the frosty color would suit them given their bites. skin texture is too great for it to matter ultimately. Love the red one especially.
Those disco pixel problems will usually happen on medium to low game detail settings. There is some unwanted "stuff" that is in the dds file, which doesn't show up on higher settings. I fixed a similar problem on my Stormcloak Battle Armor Replacer mod. I made an armor overwrite patch for those having this problem.
Go online and find a free dds to dds convertor and convert your hound dds files to dds again. Make an optional patch file with the converted dds files and make a note that it is only to be used with people having these issues. For your sakes, note that there is no ESP file. Otherwise, everyone will crap on you. Lol.
If you get it fixed, could you give your converted dds files to the author. This way others will benefit. This community helps for free. The way it should be.
