Would you please do an Alftand bypass? i make characters so often that I loathe having to get the Elder Scroll for the 20th time...

There is a mod that does that now everybody. Its called Blackreach Bypass. Even gives you a map marker which comes in handy a lot.

Fantastic, thanks mate. Loving all this mods. I like to reply with all sorts of different characters, and *hate* redoing all this long and pointless treks!

Great little mod. For those wanting something more immersion/lore friendly maybe a summon stone on the dragonreach balcony or in the gardens to the side. A duplicate stone at high hrothgar and a bit of lore faff about a persistant teleportation spell blah blah

Just starting a new playthrough so you just saved me from doing that boring as hell journey for the nth time. Thanks!

I have indeed, have them all now, just a shame certain quests can't just be skipped altogether, like all main quest ones up to the horn of jurgen windcaller. Using some mods that add unique items though, so most of those places I have to go back and trudge through to find those items eventually.

There's a very thin wall behind the urns in one of the urn rooms in Ustengrav, where you could hide a doorway.

    Is this mod lore friendly?

    Nice addition, regardless.

      More important...is it immersive?!

Anyway, thanks, now I don't have to use the console.

Of course I wasn't serious. I never actually even consider lore friendliness... ever. In fact I use leveler's tower, so I can just teleport myself and my followers there. I doubt many ladies in Skyrim would wear high heels as they run through the snow. After almost 3000 hours, I just enjoy playing however I can.

Lore-friendly or not... that particular journey just got boring. No, annoying even, after the 500th playthrough. Unlike other long treks which you don't have to do every single playthrough, this one is forced upon you. But I do have a mod that makes it somewhat easier, although more lore friendly. Better fast traveling takes you to Ivarstead using the console to get there just breaks my immersion completely. So I'm definately getting this one. It's the 7000 steps that busts my ballz every playthrough xD cheers for this.

I actually had been starting to avoid that quest altogether after a couple of times xD just because of how boooring that part of the quest is! Now you can simply bypass it, should you wish, and ofc. go there by your own two legs whenever you feel like it. It all comes down to choices

Oh thank god. I used to keep a crappy housemod around just because it let me skip the awful journey to Ivarstead.
