I can't exactly provide more updates to this mod as my computer has decided it wants to die and since I have living expenses that take priority I'm unable to to work on this or my other mod >.< sorry everyone
This mod is a favourite of mine. You get bored of the bandits in Skyrim easily, and OBIS feels overblown and burdens the system too much with scripts, imho. This is a great compromise.
The problems with this mod are easily solved:
Problem #1: The mod lists USKP rather than the more moden USLEEP. Solution: Download and install USKP into your Skyrim folder *temporarily*: This is only to be able to open the mod in TES5Edit. Download and install TES5Edit if you don't have it. Remove USKP from master. (You should be able to find a tutorial, it is actually very straightforward. Also see below comments.) Now remove the USKP. It should run properly.
Problem #2: Faces / body color mismatch. Solution: Rename the folder " Data\meshes\actors\characters" to " Data\meshes\actors\character". (ie, remove the s from characters) Don't laugh now, I did it and it is really that easy.
I did these, (very briefly) tested it, and will be enjoying the mod. I can send the corrected package to NitroGoose is they so wish. Alternatively, I could re-upload if given permission, but I would really prefer not to.)
EDIT: There is a third problem. The mod actually edits some vanilla bandits and they also have a face color mismatch issue. This is solved by opening the mod in the Creation Kit and exporting the faces. (Ctrl+F4 - but this is a bit involved. You need to track down exactly which actor template is being used to generate the bandit, and there are about a hundred of them.) I tested it with just one actor. I should be able to export the total number of actors that need to be exported. Message me if you are interested. If there is a lot of demand, I can upload a patch.
Thanks very much for this sinanonline, this is a great mod and I'd definitely support a fix of some kind for it.
A couple of quick questions: did you mean "data\textures\actors\characters"? My "data\meshes\actors\character" was already singular. After a very quick test it seems ok.
Also, is there any reason not to just swap the masters in TES5Edit rather than just clean it? I guess if it doesn't actually need USLEEP there's just no point.
Finally, when swapping the masters I noticed there was a null reference in the levelled lists? Do you think this is likely to be an actual problem of some kind?
Anyway, thanks for the tips! Without them I likely would have stopped using this mod, and then I'd just be missing out!
It would be best if you could upload a patch. This way everyone who needs it can get it. Thank you for your solution and yes it is actually "data\textures\actors\characters" to "data\textures\actors\character". The meshes folder is fine without changing anything.
@sinanonline If the author is unable to continue development of this mod, I would love it if you could release a patch for it. Or with his permission re upload it with fixes.
As much as I would love to use this mod/tweak it for use in Skyrim SE, it requires the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, which is no longer available to download anywhere.
Thank you. if its not too much trouble can also fix any of the other problems mentioned by sinanonline above. I believe the original author has quit on this mod as also stated above. would be much appreciated.
Edit; Well it looks like the other moved on to his other mod extra npcs; will try that out.
It won't work for me, every time I try to play Skyrim with it active, it immediately closes again after the Bethesda logo. Here's my mod list and load order.

EDIT: Figured it out myself, turns out it only works with the original version of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, and not the Legendary Edition one.
Hmm...not a single npc added by this mod has the correct face, they all have missing facegen data.
Since the npcs are all new, nothing is overiding their facegen data and I've exported new ones three times. I've removed the support for the USKP and tweaked the leveling lists slighty, would any of that really have an effect?
Heh, i knew i saw this mod somewhere. I Always wondered why the bandits were Always the exact same races. I mean it would have been more logical to see also khajiits and dunmer in the bandit faction. I mean they are very disliked by the nords so why not. Thanks a lot for making this btw. I can't even fathom how long you must have worked on this.
I realize that you did an astonishing work since there is at least more than a hundred variant of Bandit type in the mod. However, there is some mistake in the facegendata files. for example, some dark skinned redguard appear with a white face. Not a grey face, a Nord's white face. I don't know if you'll be able to fix this without checking every NPC facegen data one by one.
It's easy to fix this, though. Just open the ESP in TES5Edit, right-click on it and click "Clean Masters". As the ESP doesn't have any references to USKP, you can just use the Clean Masters option and it will remove USKP as master without any issues.
