The very top back half of the 2k shield looks to be missing bone textures. The back half of the top is all dark grey for me not sure that's what u have pictured?
No that's definitely not the way it's supposed to look. Must be a conflict with another mod. Probably one that alters the meshes of the shield (the shield assets are actually found under armor textures, rather then weapon textures in the games files if that helps you narrow it down). It should be that you see this same problem wether your using my Retexture or the vanilla textures if it's a mesh mod conflict.

To those wondering, unfortunately i was unable to get permission from the author of ebonsteele to use his meshes for what would have been the armor retextures. This is why that addition to the mod was never released. My apologies. As a side note, thanks for all the kind comments, i am glad to have been able to offer my retextures to the community, and be able to be the first modder to do the dragon bone weapons justice! May skyrim never die!
So I had already smithed some Dragonbone stuff...went in my house and started looking at what I had after I downloaded this...WHOA... it also worked on the dragonbone crossbow mod I have Thanks!
Just nitpicking here, but the Dovahkiin spelling/etching is wrong... The author of the mod spelled it out as is, letter for letter, but the "AH" and "II" in the word actually have their own symbols
I noticed this when doing a personal retex based on this mod and corrected it
and also I noticed on the bow there is only dovahkii You said you made your own corrected textures is it possible for you to send them to me? I would love to have the right spelling on my weaps, but I'm just not a texture making type^^
