I installed and the standard spell does not work from the school of illusion. Anyway, when activated, invisibility is reset. Installed the version of Uninterrupted Invisibility 1.0 - Anything
I'm torn as to which version to choose since they both complement my Shadow mage build.
For RP purposes, the Activate version is suited for my Spellsword class. The Anything version is more suited for rogue-types... which some of my followers are.
Awesome. Does exactly what I want, when I wanted it. Stepping on pebbles no longer strips off invisibility, but the facade drops the moment you cast a spell. What invis should have been in the first place. And, best of all, it's an SKSE plugin, and not an .esp to further weigh down my already-groaning load order. Thank you!
In need of some help.. I used to just go to sleep for 24 hours and the effects were worn off. I have been traveling around Skyrim for 4 days now as invisible. I have tried sleeping twice also. once for 24 hours, then again for another 24 hours. I CANNOT become Visible again. HELP !!! Please !!
I have encountered a glitch with the mod. After activating the mod, I used the "Shadowcloak of Nocturnal" power but now every time I enter sneak mode, I am immediately turned invisible even after the Shadowcloak of Nocturnal power expires. I have tried uninstalling the mod, creating a clean save, and reinstalling, but the issue persists. Is this a common issue?
This is good. A little overpowered if you use illusion magic, but it makes alchemy much less wasteful of an option(shouldn't have to use two full 40 second invisibility potions simply because I forgot to summon the bound dagger.)
Personally I might keep looking into the prospect of finding a true invisibility overhaul, like stealing/pickpocketing/lock picking not interrupting it unless you fail within the detection of others. Maybe even make the invisibility less effective the more the detection meter climbs to full, making you have to actually physically hide before using the spell/potion.
I may even try to learn modding to see if I can perhaps do this myself...
That would be wonderful. I don't like invisibility being OP, but I don't like it feeling like it has arbitrary rules. It really breaks immersion to touch something and lose it.
(Though attacking should still break invisibility.)
And I also like your idea of it being less effective if actors know that you are there. After all, you can still see a slight shimmer - why not make that a part of lore, like in Fallout, rather than just for the player's benefit?
