Hi! when loading this in tes5edit it says lots and lots of errors.. why is that? should i worry about it? i tried to clean the mod but it didnt remove any references or anything
This is a pretty old mod. The errors are because this was made in Skyedit, way before the Creation kit was even a thing. The mod *should* be ok to use as is but I would NOT recommend cleaning it because it will probably break something due to the fact it was made in Skyedit and not the CK.
Very well done! Also, I don't know if you're still keeping an eye on this mod, but I would like to--very humbly--suggest a version with the poison and disease resistance removed and magicka regeneration increased to 100%. I don't really have much use for those two stats and I have been looking for a standalone piece of jewelry that I could use on my well-rounded character (primarily a thief, but is a fairly adept mage as well) so that I won't have to utilize fully mage-oriented/thief-oriented armor and can mix and match as I please without much of a penalty (stats-wise).
I completed the Gauldur Amulet quest with a character no problem.
I started a new character and the SKSE and SkyUI updates came out so I updated and now I can't complete the quest. I have all three parts and can get into the cave, activate the three parts and fight the first brother but then the other two just stay up by the coffin. They posture, move from side to side, follow me with their eyes, the one draws his bow and puts it away. My followers go into attack positions....weapons in one hand spells in the other, they taunt. Everything but fight.
Is there something that needs to be changed in your mod to allow things to go forward now that SKSE and SkyUI have changed? I don't see any requirements from your mod for them to be installed. But sheza no work now!
I ran into an odd problem with this mod, and if anyone knows a fix or has had a similar problem, I would appreciate any feedback you can give. When I wear this amulet with this mod activated, my Magicka regeneration skyrockets. As in, even in combat, my regeneration rate is pretty much instant, making this effectively a god item. This is the result of this mod since it it only this item that causes this, no other magicka regen items give me this absurdly high regen rate. When I turn this mod off, there is of course no godly regeneration.
Is this some weird quirk of the latest patch, and has anyone else had this issue? This mod worked just fine before the recent patch with no crazy regeneration, but afterwards it went crazy.
Never noticed the bug until my character changed clothing to something that didn't completely hide the amulet, so I'm glad I found this! Thanks for the mod.
Thanks a lot for this! Now I can finally wear this amulet (or any modded likes of it) without having it carve into my character's chest like some vicious insect! It's one of the best looking amulets of the game, thanks to you we can finally wear it too! Thanks again and cheers from Paris :0)
I agree, this is a great way of rebalancing an item that SHOULD be powerful even at higher levels to live up to its reputation without turning it into a god item. And the mesh fix is a bonus. Thank you, endorsed!
Came back to endorse this mod. I've checked ALL the gauldur mods and I believe you came up with a very reasonable (read: not overpowered/god item) interpretation of what Bethesda SHOULD have done.
I'm roleplaying a vampire/succubus PC and this thing has turned into a kind of perfect crutch item for her.
P.S. Ah, just remembered: the amulet clips with mage outfits and disappears with the wench outfit. Overlooked? easy fix? heard it a 100 times? (if so, sorry...)
PPS. ah, just remembered something else: I am using a CBBE body mod so that might be a problem?
