So many bug reports on the latest version of Wearable Lanterns. I'll just stick to using version 3.0b and this lighting fix here.

No longer necessary from Wearable Lanterns 4.0 upwards. The SMIM and glass patches are though.

This doesn't seem compatible with HDT. It wont cause any issues or anything except from the fact that your lantern simply wont jiggle around because the files of this mod overwrite everything. I'm also using the glass fix together with this, but I cannot get my lantern to jiggle when my character moves.

Does it work with the 4.0.1 release of Wereable Lanterns?

"The billboard glow effect on all lanterns has been removed in order to improve visual quality and compatibility with most ENBs. This makes the Wearable Lanterns - Lighting Fix by IcePenguin no longer necessary. " Chesko.

No idea why but I was still getting the glow from lanterns with the newest version, but this did the trick and it's so much better now.

Terrific fix! I love Chesko's mod but always hated the glare, esp when switching to first person mode.

Now the firebug lantern looks lubberly.

    Endorsed.

does this work with the HDT addon from this mod...
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57408/?

it makes the worn lanterns jiggle with movement. this light fix overwrites many of the hdt files. so is it either OR, light fix, or jiggle?

More of a preference than a fix... but who cares...

First of all, thanks for this awesome mod. Now, the reason I am writing this comment is, apart from having too much time, a very minor one: Please, for the love of god, it's 'based ON' and not 'based OFF OF'. Thank you for taking the time to read my competely irrelevant comment.

Both terms are correct. There is no real difference between the two. However, "based on" is more grammatically correct and more accepted. Though, that does not make "based off of" incorrect. Had the author only wrote "based off", then yes that would have been incorrect. The fact that the author made use of the word "of" after "off", makes it correct. If you use the word "off", it must be followed by the word "of".

You're not incorrect, but you're also not correct... if that makes any sense lol. "Based on" is just a better use of the term than "based off of".

"Based off of " is a colloquialism, it's not proper English. "Based around" is even more incorrect.

You can build a structure around a center, but bases go on the bottom of things, so you can’t base something around something else.
Similarly, you can build something off of a starting point, but you can’t base anything off of anything. Something is always based on something else.

I'm waiting for someone to say "irregardless" so I can pounce on them in a storm of grammatical fury.
