    Sticky
Version 2.0 does not use the retexture of version 1.0. You must make sure to uninstall version 1.0 before installing this version. Unless you like the changes which version 1.0 made to the game it will not effect version 2.0 by not uninstalling it but this will change other vanilla effects which are not related to mist in the game and there is a slight anomaly which appears in the cloud effect when using the STORM CALL shout. I do not know why it does it but version 2.0 does not alter that effect, so will not produce it.

Looks great. Is this compatible with CoT? I thought CoT tweaked the mist but I wasn't sure.

      Thanks!

It is compatible with COT because I haven't changed the mist effects which weather mods deal with.

It's a simple retexture, so porting is easy as installing with MO or Vortex and then running the textures through Cathedral Assets Optimizer, which is up for install on nexus.

There will be a SE version of all my Skyrim mods. Just waiting for the madness to die down a bit.

Fantastic because I am using a lot of your mods and this one is the only one so far that isn't 100% friendly with SSE (they are shining really brightly outside in the day - but it might be CoT's fault...)

Thanks very much, my friend, Those are the new textures that I assigned to the meshes so that they did not effect anything other than mist in the game.

Is it possible to retexture the horrible smoke/mist seen on every loading screen.
  10. I seem to have encountered a missing texture at Crystaldrift Cave.

After doing some fiddling, I discovered an issue identical to the one reported by Monolithia. The fxsmokewispslgvoladjust.nif file has a part that is pointing to a texture that does not exist: the CloudTileLight01a.dds. It's in the same part of the mesh as Monolithia pointed out.

I have downloaded the fix, but it does not touch that file. The fix is for fxsmokewispslgvol01.nif.
