Hey i where do i place the esp and bsa files in this mod, i placed them in the data folder, and there seems to be no effect in game, can you please help me out?
Amazing idea, was getting around to make something like this for months now. Few things however, despite inactivity of mod creator: 1. v2.2 is bugged: damage immunity error is still present and easily replicable 2. you should defenetly provide support to MCM 3. if you do not have time/will to continue this mod, please PM me, I really want to polish and finalize it
Yeah i dont think he's ever coming back It probably would be better to continue the mod or make your own version with maybe the same or similar formula. BEcause i really do like this mod it's sad though that the author is gone.
Nice idea. 2.2 is broken, and it looks like it's because it's missing a perk entry "Apply Weapon Swing Spell". I found it present in 2.0, added it to 2.2, and then my character took damage from hits. I tried fiddling w/ settings using console and saw changes in incoming damage, so I think the mod is working. Two things, though. *incorrect. my bad.1. fArmorScalingFactor = 0.08 by default. Meaning you need 1000 armor (900 wearing all four pieces) to reach 80%. 2. I don't get notifications when changing armor rating. I get a feeling author may have posted something mid-work instead of finished file. But I still like it enough to endorse!
edit: changing fArmorScalingFactor ingame does not get saved when I restart the game. When I looked up in Creation Kit, it's correctly set at 0.12... I don't know why it shows up as 0.08 ingame even though the mod is at the bottom of the launch list.
edit2: turns out, it's "Duel" changing that coefficient. I thought its support armor up to 1000 was going over 80%... Sorry about that.

I am unsure if it's an interaction with other mods or just this mod; but it's worth pointing out.
