Would also love to see this move to SSE
Im trying to find a mod that allows my character to wear heavy or light armor.. and then also wear at the same time clothing peices.. but instead of showing the graphic of heavy armor, show the graphic of light armor..
I want to be a monk with a two hander yo!!
*found that you ported it over before I even digged! Woot thank you https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2189 *

A shame you can't upgrade the clothing. I'd love to use it, but.. Well, it's not really a noticeable difference.

I just installed this mod and I'm very much pleased; I did however notice right off the bat that the novice hood I was wearing remained at 0 armor value. Are you considering adding hats and that of the like to the mix?

Do the clothes have a fixed base armor rating or can they be improved in armor rating at the workbench using various appropriate materials? Thanks.

I changed the base stat so they should improve normally, if allowed. Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on the site in a couple days.

Thanks for the info. Hate to do this to you and I understand if it is too big a task but do you have a comprehensive list of all the clothing that you changed the armor ratings on? Maybe a better question to ask is that I have several other mods that make the saviors hide, nocturnal robes, and miner's clothes as and some other clothes as craftable armor. Do you think your mod would conflict with these? Or maybe I just have to put your mod in a higher or lower slot in the load order with yours to avoid conflicts? Thanks.

I've changed every single armor that identifies as clothing, this includes the child's clothing for Hearthfire.

Whether an armor is craftable or not shouldn't change or conflict with my mod.

Now, if you have another move that changes the armor rating, set whichever you prefer more to load after the other so it'll overwrite.

Thanks for the info. I will be sure to put your mod in higher in the load order than those others. Will give a try. Thanks. Interested because some boots and cowls look good on characters but not useful because of no armor rating.

      No problem!

It's good to finally give back to the community.
Now, if you wanna give back a little more and let me know if everything checks out (no missed armor values or any weird glitches), that would be even more appreciated.

Like the idea, but it should more reinforcing clothing with armor, and leather or that fine Ebony mail from that book to reinforce your clothing

hi Alex. I downloaded this mod because I thought it was great that mage robes etc now had an armour value. Have I got that right?
