I've always liked unique weapons that you can obtain. Whilst playing through my play-through I did the quest for the Whiterun Blacksmith to where I had to deliver Balgruuf's greatsword to the steward in Dragonsreach after completing the quest I gave my self one via console and wanted to improve it but I couldn't so I decided to make a temper-able version. Which allows Balgruuf's Greatsword to be improved via WheelStone.
No mod required but I do highly suggest a mod that improves the texture of the sword or else it just looks like an ordinary steel greatsword.

Also as far as I know there isn't another mod that allows the greatsword to be temper-able.
