    1. Given that this mod probably adjusts some of the same records that CCOR changes, I don't think they are compatible. This mod in a way is a simpler version of that mod. This one sticks with the vanilla smithing system. CCOR changes it quite a bit from what I remember when I last used that mod awhile back. If someone wants to test running these together, they can, and just let me know the results. I'll add whether or not they're compatible on the mod description.

    2. In the base game, you make steel ingots with iron ore and corundum ore. This new recipe just makes it so you can make steel ingots when iron and corundum are in ingot form. Whether or not that's how it works in real life was not a concern. It still follows the vanilla crafting system of corundum + iron = steel so I don't see anything wrong with it.

    1. Consistency is always good, but nothing without compatibility. So how does it work together with (as an extension of) CCOR, the program all will have starting to fix the smiting stuff?
    2. Iron with Copper is not steel. Steel with copper makes (in this context - I don't have the vocabulary to explain it, but in short: alloy elements are no part of recipes and Copper would even not be a good element for weapon steel that is "hammered") no sense at all. Please erase this recipe before to many people read about it.
