This didn't work dor me placing the file in the data folder. It replaces nothing as it seems the voice files are in a ,bsa file. Am I missing something?
I don't use this as I have my own that's different, but as long as you have installed it correctly complete with the included file structure by merging the data folders it should work fine. Don't place it inside the Skyrim data folder, merge them.
The principle is simple. 'Loose' files take precedence over files included in a .bsa file but do not alter them in any way. As long as the folder structure of the loose files is identical to the folder structure within the .bsa, Skyrim will use the 'loose' file instead. It follows that it is important that you place the loose files correctly.
One of the best looking follower mod's (Dream girl version was in my own personal opinion Kasprutz best version). Here is the mod for anyone that has not used it, if you liked Underworld the vampire movie and Kate Beckinsale in that movie this is a very fantastically good reimagining of that character.
