All the usual blather... post comments, issues, and amusing limericks here. I slaved quite a bit on those danged smoked meats for all you'll actually see them in game. I hope it was worth it.
The gallery is open, so feel free to post your screenshots... I always find it interesting to see my textures in different locations and lighting conditions.
Cheers, Gamwich

Just out of curiosity as I know nothing about texturing/modeling: Just how much work is there in such a magnificent retexture? I mean I assume alot. But can you roughly say how long it took you from day one to the first uploaded version.
For some odd reason my virus software said this had a Trojan in it. First time to which is weird since I have been using it for a long time now. I can add a screen shot if needed. Oops this is weird it's the oldrim version, and I've not played that version for quite a while. How that file got infected is beyond me. Esp since I run scans regularly. Just really weird.
There once was a modder named Gamwich Who decided he needed a sandwich. He instead made a station That compelled salivation! That clever old modder named Gamwich!
I was surprised at how much this mod improved my game, but it makes sense - ugly food is sad food, and sad food makes for a sad Dragonborn. Thanks for the hard word on the meats, they really do compel salivation! XD
Very nice addition. I wish someone would replace the stew texture in Witcher 3 from the trolls big melting pot. It is so so so Nintendo 64 ugly, it almost made me want to quit the game forever...
Just downloaded this and took a look at it in-game. I maaaaay have squeed at my screen. The soup is so pretty; it's 10x better than the Hearthfire vegetable soup texture!!
You could also "retex" "wrfireplaceclutterbright01.dds" found in "textures\clutter" to complete the mod. It use the same as "wrfireplaceclutter01.dds" just ... well, brighter. ^^ An overexposed version of "wrfireplaceclutter01.dds" should do the trick.
I see Cabal for example wasn't aware of it as well. He forgot to replace "wrchainsbrighter01.dds" for his chains texture he made for his Whiterun mod. And I ... wasn't aware of it also, just found it.
That is odd that they put it in a different location, and it's a small file, so it must be involved with the fire lighting effect. I'll have to add a new version I guess.
Yep, easy to miss. And right, really odd ... don't know and understand the sense behind it. But good you've more than two eyes. o.o + o.o = found !! I even don't know where you really see those *brighter textures. But I guess you're right.
Btw, CG !! If you search "Cooking", this mod is on place 3 !
