I love this MOD! It creates the sense that becoming a vampire is completely one's decision and not just a random event or side effect of meddling with vampires. Has anyone have any problems, CTDs, glitches or incompatibilities? I ask because I have a mod list of 242 (not all plug ins) and I don't want to mess up my savegame files. Testing at the moment.
Very simple mod, but it is an absolute must have IMO. No more stupid 3-days waiting to become a blood-sucking annoyance! XD Thank you very much for this Mod!

Glad to hear you like the mod. I will begin working on a cure for vampirism soon. I just need to find Sam or Dean and borrow a certain journal and I'll be set.
There already is a way to cure Vampirism in-game. To contract it is the hard part, so it's obvious to create a mod that gives you Vampirism, not cures it.
I usually have to be very careful not to contract vampirism, because I tend to avoid the Dawnguard quests until pretty late in a playthrough unless I'm using a character in which it is critical to its story.
Dawnguard throws a horde of vampires and their thralls (plus the Traveler, who is another vampire) at almost every city/hold capital I visit, and they seem to like targeting me first.
I know; not born yesterday. My point is that if avoid knocking out the Dawnguard questline before level 10, then you have a pretty high chance of running into enough vampires to hopefully contract it without resorting to a mod config menu or a cheat item. For those roleplayers out there.
To have vampirism from the get go, that's different. Like you came on a cart as a vampire or you were a vampire before plugging in LAF. Then that'd be acceptable.
@OP Maybe not that "realistic". You went three days without visiting a shrine or obtaining a cure disease potion, so you get to go through Falion's little ritual.
The main reason I created the mod was for the role-players that wanted to go through the vanilla story as a vampire. Some don't have the Dawnguard DLC and others like the immersion of being a vampire without breaking it with cheats. Though your suggestion actually sounds quite nice. I might just make a stand-alone that cures it in the later stages saving the time and money of doing Calcelmo's quest.
i am running moonlight tales which can instantly create you as a werewolf, with this mod I can switch back and forth between vamp and large vicious doggie, so it works awesome excellent mod thank you endorsed and voted for
