the title was a lil misleading and it took me a sec to find what you did now if you made one thet re did the black arms to chain mail and got rid of the poopy Pegasus helmet with a dawngaurd one that hade matching colors that would sell and pleas do cuz my guy is looking kinda funny right now
Agreed, although with less disdain. It's a poor retexture, you can see the mesh has been left intact and a lot of other mistakes. A better idea would have been chainmail (or is it two words chain mail...) anyway It would have looked better and have been more realistic as it would still allow mobility, but with the obvious pattern from the fur still there this retexture is simply not of the quality to be released yet, give it some more work and research and you may find you can do better.
The leather cingulum looking belts are really funky looking on this armor and very out of place, so its a good idea to get rid of them. It is a rather bad idea to make that area look like steel. It looks ridiculous. Why wouldn't you just make those areas all animal pelt?
The reason they had those fabric like areas is so the men could sit. They also had them around the neck, knees, elbows and hands so those could move more freely as well. I've studied medieval history for 10 years, I should know
The armored leather flaps are called pteruges. If they have an alpha transparency property, you can zap them completely if you'd rather not have them at all.
Unreal and dull, original way better. thx for the effort either way. yee i love that armor but that doenst look pretty ! can somebady edit skill trees because i find it very stuipid that that armor in the light armor tree!
What you might want to consider, is replacing the area with a short chain mail skirt rather than simply tossing the steel texture on the area, would look better and is what they had in reality. I know it might not be possible with out the CS.
