I'm sure it's something obvious I'm just missing, but what is the difference between this and your All DLC Sorting Solution (#61941)? As far as I've been able to ascertain, they both are sorting mods that include all DLCs. What are my old eyes not seeing?
Hi, I just installed your mod on a new installation and tested it out. The strange thing is that some types of items and spells work but others, such as ores and ingots, simply do not work at all. I suspected load order issues but i couldn't find anything there. Are there any known incompatibilities with your mod? I'd really appreciate some help on this matter; its a weird problem that I haven't encountered yet in all my playthroughs of Skyrim. Thanks in advance!
There is a weapon and armor sorting mod that's new and updated - Yet Another Sorting Mod - Armor and Weapons by Darth Vladi http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63849/?
Though I would agree, it'll be nice to be able to sort everything with 1 esp (sorting mods with esm's don't work with heavily modded skyrim, like what I got, 86 mods with 109 esp/bsa/esm's)
Sword - Dwarven Sword, Two Handed - Dwarven Sword, Great - Dwarven'''''
I personally think the 2nd option is better, though there is no Two Handed swords in skyrim, so don't need Sword - Two Handed - Dwarven But there is Great Swords (same thing really, but just going what they are called ingame). So: Sword - Dwarven Sword, Great - Dwarven
or (for people who want to sort weapon/armor by metal type): Dwarven - Sword Dwarven - Greatsword Elven - Sword Elven - Greatsword
I am wondering if Kelsenellenelvian has intentions of making a optional mod to go with this that adds in the armor/weapons from immersive armor/weapons mods. Since those 2 mods are almost used by nearly everyone who plays skyrim, but that's like 3 times the number of items he'd have to work with vs vanilla armor/weapons .
I run Mod Organizer, and every time I activate this mod, it auto places it near the top of my load order and locks it there (at #15). I got like 155 esp's out of 85ish mods I got active. So does anyone know how I can go about changing the esp for this mod to be near end of load order? There is like 4 other mods that MO does this to also but I am not worried about them as I'd prefer them at the top of load order.
This one is made that way on purpose. That way it doesn't run the chance of interfering with other mods.
You are actually looking for this one here - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61941/? you can change the order on that one and its the same mod just more modular and not a .esm
Well being at top of load order will stop a sorting mod from working. So what's the point in making a sorting mod a esm file rather then a esp. Also I am using your other mod that you got posted ( and for some reason LOOT likes to stick it up near the top [like #33 or so out of 116 esm/esp] of load order, so have to move it back down and lock it, lol).
I made this one that way so people could use other mods that changed things like values and weights and still at least partially get use out of this. (Think of this one mainly as a mod for people who DON'T add allot of extra items in via mods.)
If you use my other one at all this would be moot.
That all being said though I will look into adding meta data to the other one so LOOT will place it better.
So, you may wonder why this way? MAXIMUM compatibility with other mods. No load order to worry about, no mods being unintentionally changed by having this load afterwards. (However any mods loaded after this that changes any of this will over-write these changes)
I really like this sorting mod, compared to others, as it is actually updated!
But is it possible for you do a weightless optional update? (I did read your comment about it being abundant in your "ALL DLC" description) but some of us really hoarder all potions, ingredients, crafting mats and such and they just pile up untill no other items can be looted :- (
You also are slightly misunderstanding what I was saying my post was not about the missing weight values in the 0 weight ones it was about different weight values that stemmed from patches and dlc. I didn't even look at the zero weight options as I knew they would be zero weight.
i.e. some of the dragon claws were missing weight and value in the original game but that was fixed later, keywords were added later for merchant and loot lists things like that.

Do we want it like this:
Sword - Dwarven
Two-Handed Sword - Dwarven
Great Sword - Dwarven
OR:
Sword - Dwarven
Sword, Two Handed - Dwarven
Sword, Great - Dwarven
???
I am partial to the later one.

My personal taste would be a option 2 style ESPECIALLY if I am going to do the work adding in immersive armor and weapons.
That way all of the same base style would be in each section.
Swords
Bows
Daggers and so on....
So let me hammer out the base style and then I will add immersive support in to the other mod. This one will stay with legendary skyrim only.

(I already have support of faction crossbwos, NPO crossbow module and Book covers skyrim in there....

Also there are no bugs and this even incorporates changes from the unofficial fix packs (So really there are less bugs)
That's already allot of work and I don't know if I will get to books. I guess if they are requested enough I will.

Regardless, thanks for the mod!
I just need to get motivated to do it. I'll try to not take to long.
