IMO, this mod makes so much sense since you acquire blacksmith knowledge through books. Especially great when you're a heavy armor smith but still want some high-end light weapons. Like crossbows.
I'm surprised your mod hasn't been downloaded/endorsed more. Definitely deserves more love.
I tried... however with the unlinked perks it looks more like a weird tree than an anvil anyway.
If you have a suggestion on how to shape it (the connection are the same as the sample image) please let me know (even a crappy paint jpg will suffice).
Since it removes requirements instead of adding them, adding the mod in a play-through won't cause any issues.
Uninstalling it is also completely safe: it uses no script, only 5/6 record edits.
HOWEVER, if you, for example, install this mod, take the Orcish Blacksmithing without taking the Dwarven one and then uninstall the mod, you will have an "incomplete" tree.
Nothing game breaking, just a small quirk that I think you should take note of.

Completely safe.
