After the Fallout games ( 3 & NV ), I was excited to see cooking in Skyrim, but it wasn't viable at all. Food was way too weak, even at lower levels, and its weight too high for its purpose.
This mod makes it more viable, without making it "free" alchemy. I have noticed many requesting to enhance the cooking with buffs for skills and what not... That just makes me think, just use Alchemy, its not hard. However, for those that want just some health and stamina, you shouldn't have to waste skill points and perks just for that when there is FOOD.
One thing I would like to suggest, when possible, is to have some foods, like the stews and soups, provide a regenerative effect. IE +5 hp for 30 secs. And keep things like steaks a solid heal, just +30 hp when eaten.
(Post Edit) To clarify, stews do already have regenerative effects, but I am thinking they could have a weaker solid heal and higher regeneration ratio.
Thanks for the mod, hope to see some expansion on the wonderful idea and work thus far.
I'd rather keep all the translations on this page (It helps with updating), if you'd like to send me the esp I'll upload it and give you credit for your contribution. Sound good?
Hi, Cool interesting mod, I've made a french translation of your mod V1.0 for my personal use, can i release it with your permission ? I will send you translated .esp too.
"Also, at Opethian777, part of the reason you clicked on it was because it was called "Yummy in Your Tummy", right? "
No,actually I always check out the latest files=) But now that I think about the name....it reminds me of a Monty Python skit where the song "yummy, yummy, yummy I've got love in my tummy" is performed on stage by a group of SQUARES...err cardboard boxes So that is a good thing as well as a funny memory! Once again great work on the mod)
Had chance to test this out a little now, and I'm liking a lot. Endorsed, thank you.
As I previously stated, I'm trying to keep my warrior as far removed from the magic aspect of the game as possible. So, like a few people have stated, I'd also like to see foodstuffs bestowing buffs, stat boosts, utility etc.
I dunno whether this is possible within your time constraints, vision of the mod, or even if you can do it without the CK; would be super-cool to turn cookery into a fully fledged and viable alternate tradeskill though.
