As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been very active lately. I do plan on updating the mod asap and maybe even offer versions for the most popular mods out there (like enderal). It all comes down to time thought and as of now I don't have much time for modding at all. I want to thank everyone of you offering support and answering to questions in the comments, I really appreciate it!
GamerPoets has made an installation video guiding you through the installation process step by step. I highly recommend watching it, especially if you're having problems with getting the mod to work (Video and info is embedded into the description)
Thanks a lot guys for the truly beautiful support and feedback. It's amazing to see that so many people enjoy using this mod and it really does motivate me to keep updating and expanding it.
23.02.15: Thank you all for 1000 endorsements and the votes for FOTM!
If you are having issues with the mod, check the Forums tab. I've posted some common issues and their respective fixes, I will keep updating it.
Sorry for being a bit silent lately, things are still quite busy. If you have issues with the mod check the comments, 99,99% of the issues have been discussed before. If you really run into an issue that hasn't been posted before write me a pm, chances are I'll get back to you faster since I won't be able to check 100% of the comments for all the mods on all the websites due to the lack of time
MO users, make sure that you've really edited the right ini, double check if the edits have been applied!
B: My Skyrim looks like this:
Spoiler:
Show
F: Move TAZlighting.esp to the bottom of your loadorder (but before the AOS patch if you are using it)
B: The ground looks like brown fog the skies seem to work though
F: You probably have edited the wrong SkyrimPrefs.ini. You need to edit the one located in Documents/My Games/Skyrim
B: My Skyrim crashes when going outside/fast travelling etc.
F: Almost always an issue with your enblocal.ini. Doublecheck the changes you've made to it. One or more settings might crash your game. This can also happen when moving your Skyrim installation to a different location. If you experience crashes after doing so try a different enblocal configuration as the old one might cause problems now. You can find more or less "generic" enblocal settings in the miscellaneous section of the downloads. Use this file if you're having problems finding the right settings for you.
B: My Skyrim looks like this:
Spoiler:
Show
F: Check if you're using a modified atmosphere.nif. If you do remove it.(data/meshes/sky)
B: I get very bright particles (waterfoam, snowflakes etc.)
F: Use the particle patch by mindflux (link in the description) and additionally his snowflakes for ENB.
any chance i could run this enb on a gt 1030 gddr5? i dont think it is enough but still worth trying to ask (as i dont have the card yet, just asking around) since it doesnt specify what are the minimum requirments anywhere and the second question, if not, is there any kind of light version of this mod? or any kind of settings i can do in the menu to make it work?
I had the issue, too. I saw this, and removed all the .ini files from my Skyrim directory. That removed the pink mist, but now everything's too dark, so I'm here looking for someone having my new issue.
The latest ENBseries are still compatible and working (currently v0453).
If you have white screen, be sure to uninstall unsupported weather mods.
If you still have weird graphics (hellish red or deep black graphics) even after doing everything correctly, copy all files from the enbseries to the game's folder (not just d3d9.dll and the enbhost.exe), then overwrite with the mod's files.
Is there another installation help video? The link in the description is dead and I'm a bit confused on how to properly install this mod. All of the help videos I've searched for come up from 2015 and enbdev is longer in use for recent Skyrim updates.
Thanks! <3
Edit: I neglected to mention that I am using Skyrim Legendary Edition and have never installed an enb before (my pc was never strong enough until now). I only have Enhanced Lights and FX installed. Thanks again!
what did you do, I cant figure it out? don't know why there are no vids showing how to download except some fast speaking child that is to hard to comprehend
