This mods ONLY adds the dialogue to the status of Mara during the Alternate Start and the initial trigger scripts. For more specific details of potential issues, refer to the appropriate mod. Both Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life and Death Alternative - Capured have a Readme file that describe their respective scenarios.

The blackscreen should be removed more or less 10-12 seconds after the loadscreen if you uses the alternate start option, and 2-3 second after finishing looting if it starts through DA, which may take more or less time depending on the size of your inventory. I could never reproduce the so called "blackscreen stuck" issue so I don't know why and can't fix it. However, if you have it, it can be removed via the DA menu, utility tab, "reset player state". This re-run the same code that should have removed the blackscreen in the first place. Make sure you have waited sufficiently before using the debug button.
From now on, I'll smite anyone asking that question again.
what happened to Alternate start - live a new life? the file is missing from nexus and I can't use it! I know this is old rim and all, but I'd like to download my fav mods since this is a new computer and all.

I essentially ported all three additions of Death Alternative, COMPLETE with every fix I could find and muster.

Great add-on. I picked vampire thrall as a start and to my surprise i started in a cave S.E of bruma! I did not expect it to pick a location from the beyond skyrim mod but now i really have to cross the skyrim border to start this adventure. A+
This MOD outdated,and broken , In the Mara statue selection option, the DA-select menu randomly appears as three to four selection menus, and the rest is not generated due to an error. Every time you re-install, the selection menu disappears and changes.
I don't know about others players, but for me with Ordinator and Immersive detection mod it is impossible to take even a few steps, let alone get out of this fortress in which Thalmors keep me :(
