It seemed like an excellent idea but really ... it's nothing great that all human footprints are high-heeled ... :/
If you can't make an exception between living beings, like the great original Mod, then you should make an exception just for the player, that would be less '' annoying '' than seeing only heel marks on the floor from all the characters.
Too bad the mod you need is not being maintained from what I read in the comments. It sounds great, but it would be even better if you could have a script that runs when you remove/wear boots or shoes that change depending on if it is a heel or flat boot, or barefoot. Although, I am not a programmer/coder, I am not sure how that would be achieved without requiring patches for every other armor/clothing mod out there.
well he could have used a mcm menu system where the player him/her-self can add the footprint texture to the boots she is wearing. there have been a few mods like these over the years that work like this. by doing something like this takes away the need for pushing patches for specific mods.
