Hey guys had to remove the special edition skyrim mod page as the file that was uploaded onto that site was very buggy and was causing crashes for a feww people. I have since reuploaded the SSE on the main Inferno page. Please do not use the nexus mod manager to download it as it seems to mix up the files.

Love this mod so much man. Hardcore mods are right up my ally! I have High Level Enemies Redux, SCREO, Smilodon, and ERSO Nightmare amongst a couple other difficulty mods installed that made this mod outlandishly difficult. I'm a console player (Xbox) and I had so much fun fighting all the bosses and getting destroyed repeatedly in the process hahah!

I would recommend one thing and that would be rewarding the player with unique weaponry along with magic. Just for those who play sword and board (I don't but I understand there plight) so they can feel like they are being compensated too!

this mod would make michael bay blush.... my only problem is at level 200 with a legendary+ heavily enchanted deadric bow (read 64 different damaging enchants) it still took an absurdly long time to actually get anywhere with the enemies.... on adept difficulty. archery, alchemy, enchanting, destruction and smithing 100 with caco/elemental destruction magic/ordinator.

towards the end fights the fights were so long that i just wanted them to end because enemies were simply just bullet sponges at that point. (it took me a good hour to actually kill the final boss).

if the mod dev was aiming for dark souls styled combat... this is not it. less explosions, more actual tactics and less running/gunning + bullet sponge enemies...

great story concept. terrible execution, the only spell i might consider using is the static sprint, but thats cause im on a survival mod that disallows fast travel.

I just finished this mod and I can't say I enjoyed it. Boss health was so high I just hid in the stage geometry and spammed spells with SmartCast.

    It wasn't fun.
    It wasn't challenging.
It wasn't the epic the description promised.

I tried, I sincerely tried, but around the 3rd boss it became clear that my level 91 character wasn't enough to cause any lasting damage, so I just gave up on fighting fair. The spells are powerful when compared to vanilla, but are nothing to the bosses introduced by this mod.

I beat Dark Souls III bare-handed once, and it wasn't nearly as frustrating as this...

Now this is a great mod. I'm running this in SSE and it's stable that I almost didn't remember any bug, and that of course together with lots of mod. The thing is I have many mods that overhaul the enemies and guess what? Some of the dragons here have 300k hp, I was wondering why my spells are almost not working, my damage was not even close to 1k. Manage to defeat them in the end though as I have a lots of magic and weapon mods together with Ebony warrior as follower and some summons. Seriously I really like the mechanics here, the enemies are super hard, and compare to other mods like Vigilant, Colorful Magic, Darkend, and Final Cataclysm, this one have the most different and most OP enemy I fought. Tried to use the summon spell I get from here outside, and the I pitied the enemy. Really nice mod, endorsed.
Oh I forgot that the coolest thing here is that dragon that covers me with black power making it hard to see, that was the most unique combat mechanics I've seen in Skyrim. Another one, using Hidden Cobra+Vanish from Apocalypse spell may be the most brutal way of defeating the enemy here, you basically down their HP to 1.

OK this mod is bugged as hell.
I defeated the first boss (after that dragon) and he drops a spell tome, as well as his minions. But after picking them up OR learning them straight away from their inventory (shift E) they are nowhere to be found. Not in my inventory, not in my spells, not in my shouts, not in my powers.
In my first fight against that giant troll I even permanently lost my main weapon - I searched for it for quite some time, it was simply gone.

    SSE Version, deinstalled.

I swapped from legendary difficulty to Novice difficulty, as it was suggested.
The first dragon still has around 55.000 hp and flees from battle if I bring him down to around 40k.
    Is that intended?
    SSE version.

Same problem. The books open, and the written text is fine, but the pictures show a rainbow image with IMG: on it. All of the pictures are in the /textures/clutter/books/images. Has anyone had luck in fixing this?

      Thanks, Mark

Thanks for a great mod! I enjoyed it thoroughly. I haven't played any mods with as challenging enemies as the ones in the Inferno line of mods. I played through The Blood Marked at level 84, and my fully modded character had to go through several deaths to finish. Granted, I chose to make a point out of not using any of the Xamnant tomes, so I could add them to my bookshelf.

Here's my reward - most of the Xamnants stacked on a bookshelf!
