    1) Great Mod
    2) Usually no recipes show up as choices, why?
    3) Needs a bit of revision to fully support Frostfall

      1) Thanks
      2) As the description says it only shows recipes if you have all the ingredients
      3) I have not played in a while but I think it has all the FF keywords injected. Maybe he changed the system since then. However I don't play oldrim anymore and don't have it installed.

Brilliant mod and it helps me not cheat with the console for salt. No more 10 ingredient recipes for me, though grilled venison will remain a stable. Now all I have to do is find a source for chicken breast.

Suggest more recipes for using up the fields of cabbage surrounding Whiterun.

Oh and like you list of recommended mods, esp Eli - her small houses are stellar

Thanks for the mod. My elderly lady character can enjoy some new recipes in-between clearing all those bandit-infested ruins.

Maybe a modder will add an armored walker for granny-kin.

Does drinking vanilla mead or wine overwrite the effects of eating Nordic roast or stew?

for example, if I eat, say, Nordic beef stew first and then wash it down with Honningbrew mead after, would this cancel the buff of Nordic beef stew?

Try it and check your magic panel to see because I don't remember. I do know that when a specific effect is applied and another item applies the same exact effect (formid) the second one just overwrites the older one as they do not stack.

For instance if you use a spell that gives you oakflesh and then eat some food that applies that same exact effect the food overwrites the spell.

This gets complicated if some mod has added an effect and named it Oakflesh (really dumb idea but it could happen). The engine would see them as two different effects and they would appear twice in your magic panel with the same name. My mod does not do that. Any unique effect I might add would have it's own name.

I've checked it. Vanilla drinks don't overwrite Nordic Cooking's effects. Awesome mod bruv.

Dude if I install the RND patch, do I just use that file or do I have to use the main file too?

The sentences under the two Main File choices state "(only one main file needed)". This means pick one.

Nordic Red Apple Cider & Nordic Carrot Juice does not reduce my level of thirst and animation of drinking is not played.
I am using iNeed. So bad load order or merging this mod killed it? Please halp.

It's not considered as food by inn merchants either. I mean that i can't sell it nor add it as drink in mod I'm a customer Dammit

Nothing in the mod would disallow you from selling it. iNeed has support built into the mod for NC at least the last one I used a few weeks ago. There is nothing I can do for you.

Thanks for the reply. Are both of there drinks supposed not to be considered as drink for ineed?

When I had it installed iNeed saw every item in the mod as a food or a drink but that was months ago.

You need to manually add "vendorfooditem" keyword in Xedit to each item, then ineed will recognize it.

There's a giant green button on the file that reads Download With Manager.

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I'm really enjoying your mod. I've added several cooking mods because I was SO bored with the vanilla recipes. Mods like yours make using a needs mod so much more fun!

Thanks for all your work on this.

    Hello there, Glock!

I must say that I am highly enjoying this mod so far. I love the fact that the recipes disappear if you don't have the ingredients. This makes it so much more easier for cooking and crafting. The food saved me a million times when I need a quick boost in combat!

I was curious about how you went about that in creation kit. Hopefully you can send me a msg about it. I would be delighted to learn more about creation kit tips. I hope to see more what you can create in the future.

    Kudos.

Thanks. Glad you like the mod. I'm afraid there is not a shortcut or easy answer to modding Skyrim/Fallout. You'll need to use the same references I did like AFKMods, the Nexus Forums and Youtube. This channel is a great help: https://www.youtube.com/user/Seddon4494
