I really like the idea, but my 2 cents - switch the gold parts to silver and the handle from red to purple/dark blue. It would look more corrupt/dark that way.
Mass Paralysis on this would be insane.Go into a bandit filled area and watch them soil their kilts. Furthermore, be stupid enough to swing it in a town/city setting and you'd have the entire guard force coming after you.
A corrupted Dawnbreaker should really be created in some dark ritual involving some of the nasty deadra and require the original weapon as a component. Do not expect Meridia to be amused. Something to keep in mind if you, or someone else feel like creating a quest to acquire this.
An interesting concept, but the enchantment doesn't seem to quite fit the nature of being the opposite of Dawnbreaker. What if instead of dealing shock damage, it summons a Dragur when you kill an enemy with it, or reanimate the corpse upon killing it along with dealing shock damage?
I think this looks great and I agree with these others that the enchant should be diametrically opposed to Dawn. That said perhaps you can also make it craftable as an UNenchanted version so we can put our own nasties on it? I will track and hope for it. It does look great !!!
