are you still working on this mod, i like it more then the other raven rock mods so i hope so, all i see you need is npc i was thinking i could put them into the game myself but ive never done real modding before just f*#@ing around usually. and the one wall thats all the way around the back of the city maybe you could move that its compatible with solstiem the lost levels theres a morag tong hiddout were the wall is otherwis this mods swee, oh the mod with the mrag tong hiddout might be solstiems dunguen pack i forgot but its one of the two
Looks promising at first glance, until one realizes that there is a stone ramp onto the bulwark from OUTSIDE the walls (lower left of aerial pic), which doesn't make sense, defensively. And the docks at the port's mouth restrict boat traffic. The boat on the lower left of the aerial pic wouldn't be able to navigate out the gate. I'm not crazy about having to look at Azura's posterior every time my character steps out the front door of Severin Manor either. These are not insurmountable problems though. I might download this and tweak for personal use. My two cents. Good effort nevertheless.
I should explain. I'm not working on a navmesh for RRR, much as it might deserve one. I'm working on a super-pack of 250+ mods for high end machines. It's gonna take a while due to competing, real life responsibilities. No one should wait on me. Sorry ...
What do you mean? Are you talking about realism or a mod that allows for ships to be used for travel? If you are talking about realism, the walls are wide enough to allow one of those ships within the bay from going in and out.
Sorry lunchbox94, I agree with Omgott. The docks nearest the port's walls make the port's entry too narrow for larger boats. A little tweaking is in order -- not that I'm asking. RRR is a great start, but it's not so ambitious that I can't tweak it a bit for personal use. I always had that feeling that Bethesda left RR a little unfinished.
Didn't the Imperials abandon Raven Rock? Pretty sure the Dunmer want no part of the Imperials coming back and setting up shop (Embassy and Depot) and essentially taking over again.Pretty sure they'd be welcome to dock there and trade, but that's probably the extent of it.
Couple of things I'd like to suggest in the next update. The top of stairs on the the new bulwalk need another step leading down onto the bulwalk. If not any NPCs may have a difficult time getting back onto the stairs. Also having it navmeshed is essential for any NPCs to walk on it. If these tweaks are being worked on just ignore this post.
I'm just about to go to Solstheim with my current character and will try this. As for the A.I. with having guards on the new bulwark and such check out these tutorials from Darkfox127 Creation Kit tutorials Very helpful and there are videos on those specific things you are looking to add to this.
