Interesting, but wouldn't it have made more sense to replace the Disarm shout?

Mmm... maybe it would. But I didn't work with that shout mainly for two reasons:

      1) I associated the "pushing" side effect of the spell depicted in the movies with the Unrelenting Force.

      2) I didn't know about the existence of the Disarm shout until now ^^'

This would have gotten a lot more attention if it was associated with the ' Disarm' shout.
There was a spell, in H.P., to cause a blast of air..Squashy thinks..*ow-ow-ow*, but can't think of it now..*ow*

Squashy probably means Stupefy. That's the most common one that does it. Used on Lucius, Snape, that toad Umbridge (not enough times). Harry teaches it to the D. A. in OotP.
There is also the Everte Statum spell that Draco used in CoS during his duel with Harry.
Both wouldn't fit the Unrelenting Force syllables however.

What can I say? German Sky Cinema HD (Pay TV) is currently showing the Potter movies. One movie after another. For at least 2 weeks. Makes sense since "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" will be in cinemas this very week.
But I still had to look up Stupefy, stumpled over the other while looking for Expelliarmus.

If we take into account how the spells are shown in the movies, then there's also the one that Ginny uses in OotP, near the end of the movie.
