    FAQ's (From the Readme):
Q: Is this a quest mod or a companion mod?
A: It's both, really. It began as a straightforward questline called "Unnatural Selection" and then ballooned into a larger project when I got behind the mic.

Q: When can I recruit Roderick?
A: After completing "Unnatural Selection" and "Jorund's Prize".

Q: How do I start the second quest?
A: Wait for Roderick to return to Jorrvaskr, then ask him about additional work.

Q: Where are the other "idiots"?
A: In my imagination and some scattered notes. They might be brought to life at a later time.

[If you don't play Fallout: New Vegas, ignore this next question]
Q: WHY ARE YOU RELEASING THIS s#*! INSTEAD OF NEW VEGAS BOUNTIES III?! I WANT MARKO'S SOUL!
A: Production on NVBIII is ongoing. I spent a grand total of two weekends on this as a means to update my lackluster skills with Papyrus. Relax.

Q: Does this release signal your move away from Fallout? *gasp*
A: I don't take an either/or approach to Fallout and TES. I enjoy both, and I can see myself bouncing back and forth between them for the foreseeable future. However, I won't be producing large mods for TES until NVBIII is complete.

Q: Based on that vague jumble of blather you call a "description", I gather the "plot" involves speaking with a garrulous, quirky questgiver who dispatches the player to kill unique entities. How very original.
    A: f*#@ off.

Q: I'm using Jagoff5000's "Immersive ENB Nipple and Combat Overhaul", and your mod is too hard. Can't you make an easier version?
A: I have a solution. Close your eyes, gently caress your nipples, and whisper, "Immersion" repeatedly. Then uninstall and un-endorse.

Q: Your reverence for IMMERSION is comforting, but the absence of arresting visuals and alluring videos fills me with trepidation. How do I know this isn't some trollish bit of bait that will disrupt my otherwise perfect gameplay experience? I will be tracking for now.
A: Live dangerously, people - use the mod or don't, but don't lay that "I will track" crap here.

Q: I'm offended by your indifference to my reasonable needs for visual stimulation. A simple, concise description won't cut it in today's modding scene. You have an obligation to proffer overwhelming proof of your modding credentials, preferably through slides lined with vanilla artwork and reassuring icons. I need to be coddled with soothing, IMMERSIVE phrases. When will you wake up and accommodate the wishes of fellow users?
A: When it comes to aesthetics, I'm a hardcore minimalist. I believe a mod should stand on its own merits, not spectacle and chicanery. I know, I'm insane, right?

Q: Is this mod *really* lore-friendly?
A: Probably so, but it ultimately boils down to the tastes and temperament of each player. I'm not going to agonize over it for such a small mod. For larger projects, I'll be much more thorough.

Q: Why do I have to complete the Companions questline first?
A: When I considered how to best insert a drunken, murderous pervert into Skyrim, my inclination was to take a "damage control" approach with respect to vanilla content. Considering the supreme stupidity of the Companions' questline, I thought Roderick's presence could only help.

Q: Is this mod scripted in a way that forces me to replay the Companions' questline? Can I just use an old savegame in which I've finished that crap?
A: This mod will work with old savegames, even the level 100 demigod that you've had sitting around for years. So long as you've finished the Companions questline at some point, you're good to go.

Q: So does this signal the scale and quality of content that we can look forward to in future Skyrim plugins? *cringe*
A: No, this was just a sideshow that aided in refreshing my skills. I have design documents for "real" quest mods, rest assured.

    Q: Who voiced Roderick Redbeard?
    A: Orson Welles.

Q: I found Roderick's voice acting to be unbearable. Can't you hire/recruit/provide sexual favors in exchange for the services of/threaten a "real" voice actor?
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse. And f*#@ off.

Q: Is Roderick related to the character from your "Prophesy of Pendor" Let's Play?
    A: Maybe...

Q: Why don't you take descriptions and/or readme's seriously anymore?
A: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I just... do you know how many players ignored them when I did take them seriously?

    Q: What motivates you?
    A: Alcohol and old movies.

Q: Do you believe in God? (People ask this kind of s#*! in PM's)
A: Buy me a drink and I'll give you an answer.

    Q: What's your sexual orientation?
    A: IMMERSIVE!

Q: You were drunk and sleep deprived when you threw this together at the last minute, weren't you?
A: GET OFF YOUR FUCKING HIGH HORSE! (Yes)

You've got to enter Jorrvaskr through the front door for Roderick to be enabled. I entered through the back first and he wasn't there but appeared immediately when I tried the front.

If you use Relationship Dialogue Overhaul (RDO), load this mod below it. There are some minor conflicts and LOOT does not order them right.

Skyrim SE should be exposed to Roderick Redbeard in all his unadulterated non politically correct naked glory in 64 bit format.

Minds shall be blown.   Among other bodily parts.

And besides Roderick makes Leeroy Jenkins look like a PG rated homesick hobbit.

Roderick is the best NPC in Skyrim, I wish I could endorse it more than once.

After I finished Roderick's questline (which is excellent) I decided to have him as a follower.

When a follower does something stupid it's really annoying but with Roderick it's completely in character and adds to the roleplaying experience.

Until I recruited Roderick I was doing pretty well as Harbinger of the companions.

I had killed more than a dozen dragons. I had Alduin on the run and I was fulfilling my destiny as saviour of the world. All the previous Harbingers were watching from the afterlife with a mixture of pride and envy as I get to save the world. I had also become a diplomat and I was arranging a ceasefire in the civil war. I was a dragonslayer, chosen saviour of the world and statesman.

But then the following things happened all in a single day with Roderick by my side.

We went to a tomb where we met Anska who was looking for a scroll that proves she's a descendant of Ysgrammor, the original leader of the companions. As Harbinger I was excited to meet a someone from Ysgrammor's bloodline and offered to help. In the first fight he charges in as Anska fires several fireballs which hit him in the back, he goes berserk and kills her. I look in horror as he he stands over her dead body. We find the scroll, it's encrytped. We decide to destroy it and vow to never speak of it again. Ysgrammor is probably cursing us from Sovngarde.

Later in the same day, we see a dragon attack an Imperial camp. For the glory of the companions I bring it down with dragonrend and we charge in, killing it quickly. Unfortunately in our enthusiasm we must have hit the soldiers because they started attacking us. We end up slaughtering the entire the camp. We flee the scene and hope the Imperial army thinks the dragon killed them. We vow never to speak of it again.

Finally we arrive in Iverstad late at night. We decide to go to the inn to rest and climb the mountain in the morning for the peace summit at High Hrothgar. But we're attacked by vampires as we approach the inn. So, fighting in the dark, with vampires and guards all over the place, guess what? That's right, we end up fighting and killing the local guards. Dead vampires, dead guards, dead townsfolk, even a dead cow that stampeded at me at one point. But it gets worse, I see Roderick in the distance fighting with some stormcloaks and their leader uses a shout and I realise it's Ulfric on his way to the peace summit and Roderick has killed most of his men and he's hacking away at Ulfric. He's also screaming, "I'll show you what a REAL NORD can do!" as he beats the crap out of Ulfric.

I get the feeling that a peace deal would be very difficult at this point.

Why have a pretty waif in a skimpy outfit for a follower when you can have Roderick?

This was a funny, modest little quest line! At the start it was not that impressive and Roderick was kind of annoying but he grew on me and so did the quests. I tried taking on the enemies around level 17 or so but it was really difficult I had to use multiple master scrolls to get through and even then I couldn't get past most of them and had to go away to level up and come back later to be strong enough. It wasn't until after finishing Dawnguard, deafeating Alduin and ending the civil war I was strong enough to take down Forneus at level 31 with the help of Serana.

Anyway as I said Roderick's charm clicked with me eventually and meeting Anund was so funny lool, he and Kodlak would really get along. The fact that you managed to voice 3 characters so well was really cool. And I like how you gave Harald a screwed up voice to make it different from the other voices and the explanation was that he failed at trying to cure his sore throat xDD so clever man.

Good job with the mod man, just wish you weren't so rude in the FAQ even tho you get a lot of annoying comments. But remember ppl who dislike something usually make more noise than the ppl who appreciate something. I bet most ppl were really happy with this quest mod, me included. Don't let the haters get to ya and ty :)

EDIT: OK I just realized I haven't even finished the quest yet, still got Jorund's Prize left. Silly me

EDIT 2: Finished it now. Holy crap that last room was insane. I don't know how anyone is supposed to overcome that in actual combat. My sword and board heavy armor warrior just went full thief, ran all the way to the other side of the room, lock picked the door and gtfo. GG
  11. hey i have a small problem,

    can someone help?
edit: i didnt properly de install fnis creatures....
