New features in Immersive lighting of NPCs v1.4 Wearable lantern added. NPC with two hand weapon (including bow, shield) will use wearable lantern instead of torch.
New features in Immersive lighting of NPCs v1.5 For v1.5a, mod do nothing to archers. For v1.5b, humanoid archer will not shot you during the night, but they will certainly shot you during the day.
well, I just saw that I have never left a comment about this mod, I have installed it I think since the first time I saw it, if it has not been the first one I have ever installed, it works great in the game, but I leave you this for any future players who want to download this mod.
Maybe the problems that I thought were from other mods only came because of this one. A great shame and disappointment when I read the tread.
being aware of using this mod and regretting that I am not going to use it, I have also warned you. you are warned
this mod made it so that every time I entered a new room or area in a fort/ dungeon/ cave/ whatever all npc's immediately came racing at me to kill me even though it was dark and I was sneaking (over lvl 100 sneak skill & all perks) while wearing nightingale armor :)
I am pretty sure you would run at your front door too if you would hear it being randomly opened and you are armed, so it is still immersive as title says

Nope, it sounds like bullshit, dude said that he has overmaxed sneak skills, doesn't that mean that his character sould be able to... open doors silently, maybe?
LOL, no. The only bull in this thread is your "open doors silently" comment. Yeah, there's definitely a point when you're so good at sneaking about that all gates and doors automatically have greased up hinges and locks! Silent locks! Maybe the locks just fall off! Maybe they just disappear! Maybe the torchlight or moonlight or sunlight outside doesn't go through the gaping hole you just opened up! Wow!
Or how about, he said he had maxed sneak skills, doesn't that mean that his character should be able to... just walk through the doors silently, maybe? Haha!
I'm with Mirrror, it's definitely an immersive feature. If I ever hear my door open you bet I'm checking to see who opened it, especially if I'm not expecting visitors.
"New sneak perk guys! You can now open doors silently!"
OMG This is AWESOME!! Stealth has become a real game of cat and mouse and is exponentially more fun. Even with my incredible stealth and potions they really do hunt for me. Often they will ring around the rosy with me on a pillar because they are much smarter. As before they would stand almost on top of me and say "must have been nothing" Now, they are not so stupid and very engaging.
I now have to use tricks like shooting an arrow at a wall or other distractions it I want to do the Thieves Guild quests according to their rules.
We could really use something like this for Fallout 4, since every "stealth" and "detection" overhaul for FO4 makes it so that enemies detect you at 100 miles away at night and every enemy has night vision googles.
A good alternative if Realistic AI detection. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74355 It doesn't use scripts. it just tweaks a load of global variables, and has a similar effect at this "Immersive Detection of NPC's" without overloading the game engine.
I love this mod and how it works most of the time. Sometimes though, something triggers and every enemy in a long range radius detect me, and will not stop detecting me until I fast Travel away. I use Realistic Lighting overhaul if that's any indication.

Soulds like the opposite of immersion.

NPC's zerging to your location simply because you open a door IS NOT a feature of this mod.
