I loved the idea of this mod, I used it on my laptop for years, and when I upgraded to a full PC, this was one of the first mods I installed, due to it's reputation of boosting the performance in Whiterun. It saddens me to say, however, that this mod was the source for a huge loss in framerate every time I entered Whiterun. Ironically, it is an average of 12 fps lost in most areas of Whiterun. I think this must be due to the fact that since more things are hidden, my CPU has to render things more often, and although it is a modern higher end CPU, it is just too much stress on it while running through Whiterun, with my texture replacers and extra NPCs.
Sadly, I had to take it out of my load order in the interest of maintaining a decent frame rate, but I do thank you for the years this mod helped my performance.
That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It has to be your textures or other mods but not this mod. When you upgraded to a dedicated PC, you must have downloaded better textures and ka-booom!!!
i'm really liking this. i had to move or remove a very few of the planes and structures just because they conflicted w/ my whiterun mods. but all in all, i get about 3+ fps with this. it also gave me the idea to add a few collision planes of my own which helped some too.
but why is there a large gate door outside the cell? [REFR:96001350] (places WRDoorMainGate01 "Large Wooden Gate" [DOOR:00050973] in GRUP Cell Persistent Children of [CELL:0001A270] (in WhiterunWorld "Whiterun" [WRLD:0001A26F]) at 4,-3)
and why was the stop trigger raised? C03RampageStopTriggerREF [REFR:000AEC04] (places C03RampageStopTrigger [ACTI:000AEC03] in GRUP Cell Persistent Children of [CELL:0001A270] (in WhiterunWorld "Whiterun" [WRLD:0001A26F]) at 4,-2)
This mods takes approx. takes 2 framerates away from my game. So the game runs slower due to this mod.
I wish it weren't the case...don't like being the bringer of bad news.
Propably due to the added aspentrees and extra objects that have to render in the vram.
But I like the outcome alot though. It subtely enhances the beauty of the city with a couple of objects and trees.
When I buy a new laptop/PC, wil surely use this mod when I can spare a few fps.
In the meantime, would you maybe consider releasing a version of this mod wich only uses the occlusion planes, and not the added extra objects and trees? I'm sure other people will like this as wel.

Open the console, click on the object you want gone, type "markfordelete" and press enter. Save the game. Next time you load, the object will be gone.
Albiet, there ARE the small occasional stutters, but they're not as often as they used to be. Definitely endorsing
