Your mod conflicts with the mod "Hielarchen Farm" Both buildings seem to occupy the same world space. Other than that, nice thirsk mead hall you made for yourself.

I really love this home. i cleaned out my abode mods last week and decided to just add one house per play style and this is the one i chose for my warrior play thru, though it could work for hunters, or battle mages as well. it looks amazing, and has all the bells and whitsles i usually like to see in a home.

couple of things i want to point out. one, the mannequins tend to go for a stroll now and a again, no a major issue, just mentioning it. Two, and this is a big one for those of us who play with realistic needs and dieses. The well does not work. i know they can be made to do so. i have seen them in on other mods. i am not a modder or i'd fix it myself.

But on the whole, it's a great home, and thx for all the hard work you put
    into making it for us!

I am in love with this mod! It is an absolutely perfect starter home for a Nord play through - being centrally located close to Whiterun, in a snowy region & designed like a traditional warm & beautiful mead hall it is Nord through & through, & as already mentioned Jaxonz Repostioner & Renamer mods allow you to tweak things to suit yourself.
Although it supplies all the crafting amenities you need (except for a Hearthfire oven) it does so without losing the feel of a simple home for a character who has yet to marry, adopt or acquire an army of followers. If you do decide to update this mod to accommodate for these things I hope that you will provide them as add-ons while leaving the main house essentially the same - it would be fantastic to be able to start with this home as it is & then have the option of extending it as your family expands A small greenhouse with Hearthfire planters would also be a handy addition!
For anyone who may be wondering the bath does work with Bathing in Skyrim

Awesome sauce - the perfect home in Skyrim.

A few teeny-tiny things got to me, but that's what Jaxonz Positioner is for! (OCD and whatnot!).

Awesome home; thanks for making. After a year of using mods on the Nexus, I've finally found my perfect player home

    All the best x

Thanks a lot for this beatiful player home. Endorsed, of course.

If possible, I add to the request of others to expand it slightly in order to add support for children/Hearthfire and followers. Perhaps an extra basement room for the kids and a small cottage in the yard for followers?

    Again, thank you!

I really like this home. I am really digging the huge open feel, the layout etc and the high ceiling is fantastic, gives it just the right feel for a hunters home. A few things.

Sitting at the thrown/Big Chair makes everything on the table go flying like a 3 year old eating peas.

I figure a separate space for a follower to sleep would make sense. without ruining the look and feel. Otherwise, I like it for hunter types and its very well done. Big fan of the single room places for certain characters.

Now THIS is the home I've been looking for; for a true Nord. Nothing beats a mead hall. Definitely going to use this from now on.
Especially like the custom containers and other misc. items lying about.

Also, is this the final version or do you plan on making changes? Mainly asking because of the armor/weapon storages. Staves and bows having unique storage, while the others- normal chests makes it look like work in progress still.

      Thanks for the comment!

In regards to whether it's finished, it is, for now; but if there's enough call for any particular change ofc I'll consider making it. The reason I made custom storage for staves & bows specifically is because I like keeping them separate from melee weapons. In fact, there was initially only one armor chest, but I found that I'd collected so much that it seemed better to split it into shields, heavy & light armor, solely to reduce the chest-access lag.

Does it feel incomplete, or sloppy? Do you think there should be additional "custom" storage for, say, 1h and 2h weapons, or melee weapons as a whole? If I add a basement to the place, should I make all storage "custom" storage and plonk it downstairs, or keep it all in one cozy cell?

Weird that Nexus didn't inform me you'd replied...

Anyway, it personally doesn't bother me about the storage. I mean, I don't tend to separate my gear so I just slap both weapons and armors in the Staff storage. Maybe because of that, rather than "sloppy", I'd say it's more "inconsistent". Maybe there's a thin difference.

As for its placement, I like it being in the main hall. I'm not a fan of basement that have a loading screen. I can say that personally, it's too much of a hassle to go to another cell to store my gear. A basement would be good for displays, like you replied to another user- dragon claws, masks that sort of thing, among others. But if it's in the same cell, with no loading screen, I'm all for it. Also, if you make a basement- don't slap on 20+ mannequins, haha. Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

I really like this home. It's got nice lighting and clutter and a good use of space.

As far as storage goes I'm using CK to replace some of the storage units with General Stores containers to auto-sort and keeping some of your nifs (an easy swap with the GS nifs). I like to use separate storage for 1h, 2h, ranged and staffs. GS has those containers built in and supported for auto-sort. Last time I swapped out storage in a large player home with GS it only took about a hour to get it just right. If anyone likes to use CK and likes to customize their mods, General Stores is really easy to add to a home and provides a lot of auto-sorting utility.

You can also use the GS add-on Craft-able Cloud Storage if you don't want to use CK and just place auto-sorted storage in-game with simple dropped items.

If you just want to relabel some built-in containers, Jaxonz's Renamer works great.

I had to idea Craftable Cloud Storage was a thing, I'll have to get around to playing with that, thanks for the heads up.

Although I'm not much of a fan of futzing around with the CK, even if I follow a guide or something. Mainly out of fear that I'll do something I'm not supposed to and then have no idea what I even did.

Great house mod, looking forward to using it in my next playthrough! Nice, small and cozy. Great location too. Endorsed! Also I see some people asking about the named storage. Jaxonz renamer lets you change it how you want.

Another person chiming in for a basement addition to house followers and kids. This place is GORGEOUS, and I'd love to use it as a 'base of operations' kind of place where I could keep a number of followers and adopted kiddies.

As for as scripting is concerned, followers don't need anything special; My Home Is Your Home takes care of that. And for kids/spouse, make it compatible with 'Multiple Hearthfire Adoptions'. (Not a modder myself, so beyond suggesting those two things, I can't do much to help.)

I might make a couple versions, then I've looked into what's needed for Hearthfire compatibility; you'd need another mod too and it looks pretty complicated, but I think I can manage. That being said, I have to be careful to ensure that there's a version still around that DOESN'T require Hearthfire! It'll need two children beds; how many follower beds do you think I should provide? And I wonder if people would be satisfied with a pretty bare-bones Nord type of basement, almost a barracks (but still, I hope, with the "warm and cozy" feel)? I'm thinking maybe one of those big archway fires, with a few beds lined up between dividers or something and a small extra room for two kids.

Well it doesn't need to house an army, but I was thinking somewhere in the region of 6 to 8 follower beds? Enough for peoples favorite followers, anyway. Anyone who wants more can scatter sleeping rolls around if they like, there are a few mods for that.

The multiple adoptions mod lets people adopt up to 6 kids as well; dunno if you'd want to go that far with the children's beds though, lest the mead-hall turn into a day-care. xD Regardless of the number of kids, I believe the author is happy to list house mods which are compatible with the adoption mod in their mod description. If you get it working, you should definitely ask them if they'd list yours!

Your description of the sleeping area sounds gorgeous. =)
