I have been struggling with Odin spells in my game. I seem to do no damage with them. I don't understand why. Well I found the issue. They aren't benefitting from perks. I figured this out when I took the Initiate perk which reduces the magicka cost of Novice spells to 0. Well Taldar's Scorcher isn't benefitting from this despite being a Novice rank spell.
