hey im not sure if this has been asked but do you think you could bring the mod over to skyrim SE and to the xbox version. I would be forever greatful if you could and would do this. I loved this mod when I had a working pc and and would love if it was in the new skyrim
Hope you enjoy the mod! Please read the description before asking any questions. If you find a bug/glitch please let me know and I'll fix it ASAP
Also I totally recommend using MTE and AV together. that way you see allllll the different colours in game
Which Version do I need?:
Moonlight tales FULL & Moonlight Tales Essentials users:
Download the MTE version (it works with BOTH moonlight tales mods) just choose either 1k or 2k.
Automatic Variants Users:
Download either the 1k or 2k AV packs, PLUS either one of the 'Vanilla' mesh or "the howling' mesh. You need the mesh files because they replace the lighting settings. These meshes are otherwise identical to vanilla/howling werewolves. If you use a custom mesh follow the instructions on the description on how to edit your mesh lighting shaders in nifskope.
Vanilla users:
Download the replacer version, either 1k or 2k. You dont need any other files other than the replacer.
Please be aware you CAN use all three different type of pack at the same time! So you can use MTE, Automatic Variants and the replacer version. (replacer version will not really appear in game other then when summoning other werewolves and during werewolf transformations; the fur will appear what ever colour you chose for the replacement texture.)
FAQ:
Q: Can you make this compatible with 'X' werewolf mod? A: I think I'm done with modding this for a while. but if you really want compatibility with a certain mod, then please to try to DIY. You have my blessing!
Q: Can you make SOS textures? A:... nah, not interested since I want this to be an 'all ages' content mod, but once again you can DIY if you feel a need
Q: I dont like the 'skin' can you make a fully fur version? A: No. Bellyache AND AlienSlof already have done, so I dont feel a need to repeat this process again.
Q: Can you make this texture for Apex Werewolf? A: Not anytime soon! I'm rather busy with other mods, but I might get around to it some day.
Thuuum has tested it out and can confirm that the MTE version works with FULL Moonlight tales!
Quote: This mod is fully compatible with full MT, all files, folder, names (mesh and tex) fully replaced original files (only "Interface" folder is unnecessary, but no conflict and this is only some kb, no disc space loss)
I used this on Moonlight Tales Enhanced and I got the whole freeze my character/partial transformation thing. Yeah...I'm a dummy and wasn't paying attention. Its for Moonlight Tales and Moonlight Tales Essentials lol!! I was reading through the MT site and others have had the same problem. Possibly add a line that says not to use it with Enhanced in bold?
My workaround** uninstall all of them, reinstall MT or MTE then add the HD overtop. Revert to earlier save...Well I had to anyway.
For anyone wanting to use an SSE-Compatible version of this Mod, there is a Port made by MadCat221 available that uses similar iterations of these Textures:
does this work in sse? i'd like to use the growl - werebeasts of skyrim mod, but i really like the customization in moonlight tales. i have no idea how to port anything, but i'd like to use this mod.
Is this not compatible with Moonlight Tales Overhaul? I installed this but the options aren't appearing in MCM, which is odd because that mod's page actually includes this mod as a recommended optional mod yet it doesn't appear to work with that version of Moonlight Tales.
Hey, I know this is a rather old mod, but I am having some problems, and I would like some assistence: (and please read everything before saying what I am doing wrong) I am using the MTE + MTSE combo (Essentials customization + Special Edition perk tree) + Automatic Variants, and when I installed the MTE version of this mod it glitched my whole configuration interface, making every option have a $MT_ before it, and every werewolf (including mine) is with the regular MTE skin (regular+yellow eyes). I don't think the problem is the SE mod being there, since only MTE got glitched. So I tried the AV version, which is working so far. I'll test taking off the MTSE and update this comment.
=================== Nope, couldn't get the MTE version to work...
I am sooo confused right now. I have installed Automatic Variants for other mods and have used it couple of times. Now with respect to HD Werewolves, I want to get the 2K textures, but the pack for Werewolf Essentials doesn't install any SkyProc patcher or a folder structure that would even work with AV. So, do I get the other 2K AV pack or what? All this on top of trying to learn how to port this to SSE...

I just made a Tumblr account so you can keep track of what mods i'm working on, it can be found here http://krittakitty.tumblr.com/
Yes, I took the Lykaios race down, it was a mistake and it won't be re-posted until I have finished the new version. Sorry!

And also, if it is at all relevant, in what order.
