The loose files version ought to work with SE, but they are a warpaint replacer. I don't know about the plugin version. That was kindly offered by another user who generated it with a tool that is no longer maintained (not the CK), if I'm not mistaken. I kind of doubt it would work in SE, but am not sure.
The plugin version is not a replacer and worked better for me. However, it has proven somewhat problematic for the community at large because it throws an error in Wrye Bash.
This error is easily corrected in the Tes5Edit, as DaveCfatal (and others throughout the thread) describes in his 30 July 2017 comment below.
I'll reiterate here that this is as much a modder's resource as it is a mod. At the time (perhaps still?), there was no other way to layer multicolored makeups and get wood elves where they need to be in the looks department.
No one needs to ask my permission to use these files in their own mods for whatever purpose at all. (I've also included a Photoshop template in the optional files for others to create their own makeups, which I'd love to see.)
(And If anyone wants to provide a working plugin, I will certainly put that up, though. That would be sweet. I don't have my Skyrim stuff set up.)

First time using Mega, so no idea how long the file will stay available, please feel free to download and repackage.
Since a lot of people have issues with the errors in this mod I'll try to make a easy guide to follow.
1. Install mod. 2. Open Tes5Edit. 3. Select only StojaMakeupPack.esp and HOLD SHIFT while you click OK to load the plugin. Without holding shift you will not be able to edit the plugin. 4. Open up the plugin on the left and extend the "Quest" section. 5. There will be two quest entries, Delete the one that is empty. 6. Save.
You will get several errors popping up while attempting to delete that entry, ignore all of them and continue to delete the entry. Hope this helps someone.
Grosaprap, THANK YOU, that link for the Stoja's Warpaints, has no issues with LOOT and although the guide from Dave works, but its not permanent, because I have to redo those steps every time I run loot. Now I don't, Thanks again.
For anyone who finds xEdit gives an error and won't let you delete via delete button OR context menu, zEdit works fine. No shift key needed. Instead of two quest entries when you expand the quests section though, you'll find one quest entry and right above it, a second file header entry. Delete that file header entry - only the one directly above the quest entry.

This mod is broke , it needs to come down till fixed. it crashes loot and tesvedit.

I am a total noob at mods , but 6 hours of being hard headed and stubborn and not quitting. I learned the basics of CK. I fixed the ESP. I will upload the ESP only as its my first ever attempt to do anything on here other than download stuff. I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS , IM JUST FIXING HIS ESP FILE FOR YOU TO USE. IF THEY TAKE IT DOWN , I WILL TELL YOU HOW I DID IT. Good mod , just need fixed esp. i fixed it. I hope mod author dont mind , im sure he much rather me share his fixed esp than people uninstall it. If he contacts me , i will send to him and rake mine down. I Take no credit.

The loose files version works fne. Both work in the game but only the loose files version can be processed by LOOT.
