Unfortunately, it seems that this mod doesn't work on newer verions of PerMa.

You are some form of saint for curing this plague on Skyrim mods. Always hated those "hidden" fx.

can I use this for Ordinator as well? Since ordinator also adds/uses bethesda original design

I was hoping for an actual before/after screenshot so I could decide if it was worth the one hour perma patch time. approx.

I love perma and what T3nd0 has done with it, but the long skyproccer wait makes me loath to change my config unless a mod is really special.

so that's why the cutting room floor patch to remove the effect didn't work, it on was re-done by PerMa. I gotta admit, I don't like the 'new' texture either, especially as it overlays in place when a character is invisible and just looks weird.

Downloading this since the shaders got old lol. Looking like I have a skin disease when going into battle got old... to be specific.

You realize PerMa's flesh spell visuals were the Bethesda originals, right? Bethesda made them, they just decided to use a boring effect in the end so they all looked the same.

And for some reason Bethesda decided the effects didn't work well. Probably because they knew a lot of people wouldn't like them. Hence this mod.

I mean, I personally won't download this cause I like the PerMa armor spell effect, but that is simply an opinion. Saying "it was the original" does not matter to those who don't like "the original".

If so many people prefer a glowing outline to an actual effect. Why out of 3k+ people, have only 57 downloaded this mod? j/s

Not 57, it's 47 (unique downloads), and only 2 actually liked it =)

I can understand the need for this mod though. When I first saw oakflesh I was like "Oh cool that looks like bark" I also realized it's going to get old after awhile. I don't like the base games glowing either I downloaded a mod to remove that too. But for right now I'll stick with perma's shaders until they get old, then I'll probably use this.

I'm sorry, I don't play with Perma but I NEED to know this. What ENB did you use on that screenshot? Your Skyrim looks amazing! I haven't see a more realistic tree even in real life!

I'd need a Nivida 5000 for that ENB.

the name of your "mod" is bullshit... It's not a fix if its not broken but intendet (by PerMa) and "ugly" is just an opinion...
calling it "reverting to vanilla" or something would have been acceptable

I agree with you Co0n and I personally find the PerMa's flesh effects more realistic (in RPG terms) than the vanilla's. It reminds me Baldur's Gate effects. Anyway, It's just my opinion. =)

You forgot to set player.setscale back to 1 for your screenshots.
