Did you not bother to read the description?

"By far my favorite house mod for Morrowind was the beautiful Asgard 3.3 by the late, great Grumpy. After failing to find a house mod that felt as nice as Asgard I set out to recreate the house using Skyrim assets. The result was Asgard Reborn, a labor of love that took over a year for me to create and make it feel like it lived up to the majesty of Grumpy's Asgard. The house is located just north of Riverwood on a new road. Please enjoy and explore to your hearts content!"

It's not literally Asgard of folklore, but an homage to an older mod from Morrowind which was itself named "Asgard".

i agree very well made but it has nothing to do with asggard look here at the info http://mythology.wikia.com/wiki/Asgard and the picture https://fenixdefogo.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/asgard-4.jpg asgard is a floating city and not dwemer made unless your not trying to stick to the lore then it's fine.

On one hand, the name "Asgard" as used for this mod is in homage to a Morrowind mod, not directly to the mythological hall of the honored dead. I'd refer you to the developer of the Morrowind house mod named "Asgard" if you wish to ramble on about myth and lore accuracy.

However, the name itself merely translates to "Enclosure of the Aesir", and "Aesir" was simply a plural word translating to "Gods". If Nords in TES speak a Norse based language, as we can presume they do, then it isn't a stretch for them to use the name "Enclosure of the Gods", aka Asgard, differently than we in the real world have. A word may use different contexts. It'd be like getting pissed off over someone making a house mod called "The White House", if the mod merely makes a literal white house, yet we all associate that proper name to the US president's home and office.
In short, this mod can still accurately utilize the name "Asgard" if the architect of the building saw their structure as befitting of such a moniker, viewing it as a home worthy of the gods to reside within. It doesn't necessarily have to refer to the mythical location real old Norse believed in.

instructions for aquiring in your description for novice modders would be nice and would probably improve the amount of downloads

Ahh, I remember this place. Like several others have said, it was one of my favorite homes in Morrowind. You've done a great job of recreating it, it feels pretty accurate to my (admittedly very old) memories of the place.

I have to admit though, I was pretty gutted to see that it was divided into a bunch of separate cells. The main hall is huge, so that's great, as it can fit dozens of followers. But isolating anything that they'd actually interact with behind a dozen loading doors throughout the hall seems like such a missed opportunity. I mean, what's the point of having a group of beds for servants when those beds are isolated from the rest of the home in a small little room with little else in it? I'm not going to lock NPCs in there where I'd never see them. The master suite makes sense as a private room, but all the others?

I'm not trying to complain because this is a very well-made mod (though I also have the giant cliffside texture obscuring the entrance to the place and don't currently have any other house mods or landscape mods installed) and for all I know the Morrowind home that this was modeled after divided every side room into separate cells as well (I don't remember that being the case but again, it's been years). I just figure that the home isn't particularly busy, none of the side rooms are particularly loaded, so it feels like it would make more practical sense to have everything connected and open so that players can populate the home with characters that will actually have objects to interact with.

Asgard was my favorite Morrowind house mod so I gave your mod a quick run through.. To me it definately felt like Asgard. Afew small issues that have already been mentioned in other comments, but I'll be tracking so see if they get fixed. When it's completely finished I can see myself using this instead of Skystone Castle. I wish more modders would re-create Morrowind mods for Skyrim. Or do tribute mods. Still waiting for someone to do a tribute to the Julan Ashlander Companion mod, lol.. anyway, keep up the good work.

thank you for all the hard work. I am having one problem: when I find the house there is a large sheet of ice, that is part of the mountain, that stands in front of the house. It is really just an eye sore and not a problem other than that. Is this just me, is it intentional, or something else? Thanks again.

It sounds like an issue with the LOD that I was having earlier. It seems that TESVEdit's cleaning bungled up a few things. I've re-uploaded the files and I would recommend that anyone having any issues whatsoever re-download the mod.

Still doing it to me. Would a manual install correct this problem?

Try giving it one one more download. I just added the modified LOD files to the zip file, so that should fix any issues people are having with the LOD. Failing that you might need to manual regenerate the LOD through Oscape.

I have tried with both manual and my mod organizer and simply had no luck. I think it is a great mod and I thank you for it. I just wish there was a work-around for that darn thing.

Same issue, with the dawnguard+hearthfire+dragonborn version.
Could be passed through without / tcl, it's just a visual glitch.

Adding General Stores (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18340), Crafting cloud storage and retrieval - General Stores (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33963) and General Displays (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32550) to the mod would be great addons.

Watching and tracking. The only bigger house i've found is the dwemer pyramid on steam and i'm giving some little suggestion to the author. Thanks to bring back a masterpiece of Grumpy to skyrim: I remember when I left in the dining room the 20+ companion from Morrowind comes alive. Laura Craft, Morgane Le Hex, Constance and Jasmine. Ah, sweet memories...
