(This is LordValinar on diff account it seems) Sadly abandoned at the moment. Life had gotten too busy for me to continue modding and as much as I would like to finish what I started, I just can't at the moment :(
1.) I've been away awhile, life got busy, several other projects bogging me down, etc.
2.) This project is going to be receiving a major overhaul (going to start from ground up). There seems to be many issues just porting over the old mod, so I'm going to re-work it. This will take some time with my busy schedule, so I apologize for any delays or problems you may be already having.
3.) The nazgul armor should already be in the mod (it was included) or at least should've been... the console commands to spawn them I don't remember, it's been a long time. The horse on the other hand, not sure what to say there, but will not be included in the remake. I might suggest however, the Demonic Horse by MontyX (it's very well-done)! Still not sure why the robes are coming up grey for everyone else but black for me O.o
Again I apologize for any inconvenience, but I hope you can bare with me
EDIT: Also if you're looking for just the nazgul set for your game, this mod should still work:
It's going a lot faster than I expected. I could have it done by the end of THIS week (instead of by the end of the month). It'll be missing the other 8 and mordor's horses, but should still include the full gear (and hopefully in black). I had to redo some of the textures, might've been missing some in the last mod.
* I still want the powers like "Enter The Unseen" (aka the Wraith World power renamed) a Lesser Power, but will put a cooldown timer on it. I feel a Nazgul only entering the Unseen 1/day isn't very accurate. Keep in mind, this mod is not meant to be balanced
Delayed. Got most of the issues fixed except for now the greybeard hood(black re-texture) is making the "invisible head" thing going on. Trying to fix that.
New update! ------------------------------------------------------------ + indicates update/issue fixes - indicates problems still being worked on ------------------------------------------------------------ Changelog as of: 03/20/2017 + Hood issue fixed (now visible and black texture) + Adding an 'invisibility' to the wraith form so NPCs should not be able to see or hear you - Invisibility screwed up wraith form (I believe I know what the culprit is, will fix asap)
Not Yet Implemented: * Will add a chest of nazgul gear near entrance to Dawnguard area SE of Riften (Alternative will be to just craft it - also yet to be tested; fixing invisibility issue first)
* Upgrade your Ring of Power (4 stages): 1st Stage - the default ring you can find/craft (+40% One-Handed; +100 Magicka)
2nd Stage(tempered with Filled Black Soul Gem, 2x Void Salts) (+60% One-Handed, +150 Magicka, +50% Magicka Regen)
3rd Stage(tempered with 2 Filled Black Soul Gems, 2x Void Salts) +80% One-Handed, +200 Magicka, +100% Magicka Regen, Gain "Slow-Time" effect while in wraith form: 15 seconds)
4th Stage(tempered with 2 filled black soul gems, 2x void salts, daedra heart) +100%, +250 Magicka, +150% Magicka Regen, Gain "Slow-Time" effect while in wraith form: 30 seconds)
Hey I just stumbled upon this mod and got really excited. However, I noticed you just stated that an update was released in March of this year, but the downloads section says that the last upload was in 2014. Did the file forget to get uploaded or are you still working on it?
EDIT: I am still Lord Valinar - apparently logged in with a different account...
That's a really good question actually. I was pretty sure I updated it... but I have also been out of the loop for awhile that this has been an unintentional abandonment of this project and I do severely apologize :( Life has gotten a bit hectic. I might be able to return to this but I'm not wanting to make any promises. If anyone wants to have a go at-it, by all means have at it!
But until I know for sure on whether or not I can come back to this, it's going to be marked "Abandoned" for now :( Again I severely do apologize to anyone that was waiting for this
Where the actual fack do i get those armors after installed this mod picked the nazgul race but cant find the armor anywhere what da heck getting triggered here
For now you have to spawn them via console, or test to see if you can craft them (not 100% sure as I think I have buggered up the naming scheme). But regardless the mod is being re-worked ground up and will test the crafting this time... and should be ready within this week. When it's out and got some confirmation most of the current issues are fixed, I'll release an update containing a chest with the full set (weapons, armor, ring) somewhere easy to find.
Trying to focus on the main issues I was having first ^_^
I'm personally having a few issues, one of which being the fact that the "powers" that the Nazgul get, seem like they should be lesser powers, not greater powers as not to be limited to once a day, it seems more accurate.
But another one I'm having is the hood of the Nazgul all end up being grey, just like they are on the Grey Beards, rather than black like their costumes for no real given reason, maybe I installed this wrong somehow? The horse I summon also is entirely unarmoured and just appears to be Shadowmere. Beyond that I'm not really sure how to get the ring of power or the spells and robes other than via console command.
Thank you for your feedback! I totally agree with you for the most part. I have made the "Enter the Unseen" (aka wraith world) power a Lesser Power; but for a future update after I get the base mod working here, I'll update it to include like a 2-5 minute cooldown. Some like the black breath might just have Lesser Power period, no cooldown. Maybe make it toggle-able though.... I still couldn't figure out the reason the hood was showing up grey, but I've restarted the mod entirely and now I'm having a "no hood/or head" at all issue lol. So am trying to figure that out.
As for your other question, I have recipes to craft the armor, weapons, and ring, the components are listed on the main page (will see a link on the mod's Description), but not 100% sure if they work since I've noticed a naming pattern I might have buggered up... otherwise I haven't put them in game to acquire yet. Again though... mod is being re-worked, but the method will still remain the same (with testing this time) to craft them. AFTER I get the base mod out here, I'll update it with a chest or something with the full set somewhere relatively easy to get to.
Hey, so I commented like two years ago or so back when I was without a computer that could run... basically any game at all. I've got a new one now, and while Skyrim's got some performance issues on it, it works well enough that I should be able to do some testing for you. I'm probably going to be crazy busy until after next weekend, but if I can get any time to procrastinate, I'll give it a shot. I'm in need of a new character anyway, so this should line up nicely.
Is there any particular bit of the mod you desperately need tested or other feedback on? I can try to make a point to focus on those aspects while I play.
Sorry for the late reply. Currently don't need any testers, am re-working the mod from the ground-up; managed to fix most issues but now the greybeard hood is just not appearing (and I think I just figured the culprit) so will be testing that out here shortly. Either today or tomorrow. I should hopefully have the mod updated by this week
Could you possibly elaborate a bit more? Like what exactly is it conflicting with (or are you just reading from a conflict report from NMM or Mod Organizer?)
Important to know, because if the original mod conflicted with many things, I might have to just redo the mod from scratch (which I mean... isn't a big deal to me, I love modding Probably spend more time in the CK than I do in game lol)
Honestly you're the first one to even comment about it not working. I thought I fixed it *sighs* There's already supposed to be one but that's when I had the Undying Screech as a Shout power, and no sound would ever come out, so I changed it from a Shout to just a regular power (lesser or greater? I forget it's been awhile since I worked on this).
Anyways, I'll add it on the list of things to look into as well :\ The list keeps growing and my procrastinating butt keeps forgetting lol. I truly am sorry to everybody who's been waiting on these changes/fixes. Just a lot of stuff going on at once in my life. I'll add it to the list though and tend to it as soon as I can. I do want that to be a higher priority in my list though.
