ive spent hours trying to figure out how to add this item in through console commands because I have already been inside the castle Im uninstalling the game
Hello. I have found the problem for the missing texture for the ebony ring and have fixed it. I messaged the mod author if they wanted to send me an email address that I would send them a full ready to upload fixed version of there mod. I don't want to upload it myself as it's not my mod. I am still waiting for a response from Akarnan.
Going to give this a shot and see if it works with Vampiric Thirst, hoping it does because twice now I fast traveled and forget to check my blood status and turned to ash as soon as I loaded lol.
I have verified that this works with Better Vampires. I am using the "Vampire Silver Ring" and it protects me from whichever level of sun damage I select. Endorsed.
Is there a difference in protection between the Vampire Silver Ring and the Vampire Ebony Amulet of Eternal Night, aside from one having a cooler name .

"Vampire Ebony Amulet of Eternal Night" is just a dummy item to learn the enchantment, the crafted trinkets doesn't require enchantment to work, but I was asked an enchantment version of the protection, so I added this item ^^. However, the protection granted is the same, but you can't add enchantment to the Eternal night thing while you can on crafted trinkets.
Good to know. One thing I noticed, the Vampire Ebony Amulet of Eternal Night" when worn creates an entry in the Active Effects menu entitled "Sun Protection", but the "Vampire Silver Ring" does not. This was one thing that prompted me to ask the question in the first place. Is this by design? Thanks.
Yes and Not, you shouldn't be able to see the "Sun protection" entry, it seems I forgot to set it as hidden. I will fix it in a future patch, thanks for noticing it In fact the mod "Forbids" the sun penalty to take effect if the player is wearing an item with a specific keyword. To make this as an enchantment I needed to add a magic effect (the Sun protection thing) that add the keyword to any item the enchantment is applied on.
