This mod's implementation didn't quite do what I wanted it to, which was to buy exactly what was on the shelf at shops and inns. "Immersive Merchants - Buy what is on display. Really" does allow you to buy items right off of shelves in shops and inns, so if anyone else was looking for that, you'd find it in that mod.

The problem with that is that there is no way to take the player's speechcraft or perk bonuses into account.

That's a fair point! Also I forgot to include this in my original post, but thank you for all your hard work for this mod! Even if it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it's well made.

    Hello everyone.
First of all, thank you for this mod. It enhances my immersion experience in the game, and I love it.
I'm writing to ask a question: I'm using "Hunting in Skyrim" alongside this and other mods; is it possible to make the food in the lodges purchasable too? Via console perhaps, or using CK/TES5Edit (in which case I would need a tutorial of sorts)?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Edit: Removed one question, since after the Golden Claw quest the Riverwood Trader seems to have been enabled for quick barter.

Not sure if anyone still read these but, I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the store problem with Arcadia's Cauldron?
Disabling quick barter doesn't seem to work, Arcadia herself refuses to offer the option to sell, yet items are still marked as steal.
Might be my own version? but I would like to see if anyone else has the same experience.

Nice mod, I like mods add immersion, thansk a lot :), just I must say something an opinion or suggerence, I was out of Skyrim for some time, now I'm back playing it some and modding it, I just didn'nt remember the name of this great mod, I just searched at google: "skyrim mod immersion eat with fork mod" that, hehe, anyway nice mod, maybe could have a more apropiate name, like "eat drink with hotkey" for example or "Eat drink with hotkey I'm a Costumer Dammit", hehe.

I love this mod very much, as it modifies the prices of inns globally, and is great for mods that add inns. It's much better than Realistic Room Rental in that regard. It also goes great with mods that modify buying and selling prices, like Trade & Barter, and in any case, it answers a basic economic question about Skyrim : How can regular townspeople afford to eat when the sale menu from innkeepers has carrots or potatoes at 40 each, and a full pot of stew at 200?

Well, the answer is that an inn makes "a meal" en masse for that day which it then sells to customers for 15 septims. If a customer wants something special to be made, or wants to pay for "provisioning" for trips and the like, that's why the trade menu costs are so much more.

Is there a way that I could add mod foods and drinks to the tavern menus via esp rather than doing it in-game? I use both CACO and RND so there'd be a lot of things to potentially add... I think I remember trying to alter your menu formlists and it didn't seem to work.

You can create a plugin that uses my mod and the mod that the food originates from as masters, and simply add them to the formlist. Alternatively you could script it to add to the formlist but that seems unnecessarily complicated.

    Quick question:

Does this work with Tavern AI Fix? So if you rent a bed by clicking on it they don't say "I'll show you to your room" all the time?
