- Added Recipes from Masters of Death mod for the Sicarius Armor - Added Temper recipes for the 2 variants of Stormbringer, sword and greatsword
Enjoy!
Note about the Daedric Bolts ... They have an awful IMO red laser look to them when fired. There is a file on the original mod page here - Daedric Crossbow It's called Bolts_NoRed_1-3 ... place it manually in meshes/daedriccrossbow ... yes to replace file that is already there.
First make sure mod is enabled. and of course you have to have SoT enabled also.
Second, some of the recipes require you to have the smithing skill to be able to craft the item. Like if you don't have Ebony crafting you won't see the ebony items in menu. .... Some will show up even if you don't have the category. I'm not sure which armor has what requirements. I'd have to look again.
I'm pretty sure the arrows (dreamweave, lightsplinter, withervine) will show up in MISC from start or with steal smithing. If you don't see those, then mod or Sands of Time is not installed correctly/enabled.
I too can confirm that none of the recipes show up for Xbox One. Both mods installed on clean save only them and alt start, checked multiple forges and leveled up smithing to 100 and gave relevant perks.
Just a heads up as this would be awesome if it got an update.
I have no way to test on xbox1 so makes it difficult. This version and SoT version here on Oldrim are not compatible with xbox anyway. SSE version should be. I also don't have Old skyrim setup to mod to update this version. My recommendation would be to uninstall this mod and Sands of Time then uninstall your xbox and get skyrim sse on pc then enjoy this and many other mods and better performance too. ...... That would be my recommendation but since I'm not fan or owner of consoles I really shouldn't advise as such.
I will try to look at the versions on beth net and on nexus to see if I can update the sse version to match, then have Tony reupload ... but no guarantees ... Okay?
Hi there again, I've been taking a break from Skyrim to play Oblivion, but I'm done with that and I've got some more information that may help with the Xbox problems:
For whatever reason the Dragon Knight Armor is the only set that shows up in the crafting menu, but the whole set does show up. I don't know if it has a keyword that everything else was missing or what the deal is, but it shows up and is craftable with 3 versions of the armor and 3 gauntlet variants. I hope this helps as I would love to see this mod fully in action on console (yes I know I should just break down and get a gaming PC, but with the current Crypto market jacking up the price of components such as graphic cards and processors I don't want to shell out the money right this second, but I digress).
If you have some time to glance at it myself and many others would be extremely grateful as these mods add many armor and weapon sets that people are craving over on the console side of things.
As always thanks again, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Hmm... Dragon Knight Armor is not from this mod and I'm not 100% sure but I think it is not from SoT either. That said your problem still exists correct?
I'm updating the SSE version right now in fact - I'll ask Tony to check the XBox versions
I have not had chance to check on this. I think this version is using the masters from SoT back when there was two files. When I updated to SSE I corrected this but not for old version.
I will work on it but might be a week or so - have to install old files and such.
Thanx for the reply. Bin playing with it as is at moment haven't had a CTD, hang or freeze-up yet. Get what you saying anyways tho. Happy to play-test as is. Let know how it goes. I'm used to starting a new game quite oftern 'cus Tony's an updateing loonatic. Lol!
Edit: Played for a while seemed ok but did not temper any SOT items lol! Got CTD (not caused by this mod) and needed to fine tune my load order (again) so started a new game (again. lol!) but left this mod out of load order (in-case u right, which u probably are of couse, lol!), so can't be any more help at mo sorry.
Arrows normally aren't improvable by tempering. Meaning you can't take arrows to the sharpening wheel to grind them.
If you have two recipes for each arrow type in Misc section of the Forge... That means you have two mods providing them. This mod and I will guess Nico's arrows (the original mod Tony was granted permission to use assets from) Some other mod might include them as well.
If you are able to craft them - then you are good to go!
Turned on Bug Tracker for this mod - Please feel free to report anything! Use the BUGS tab up top or just comment and I can move the report to tracker if needed. Thank you!
Just want to throw my hat into the Free Mod side of things. You know in case folks were in doubt or wondering where I stood. I'm 100% in the Nexus, Dark0ne camp on this issue.
When the virtual dust settles over at Steam and they begin digging out of the muck, I hope the bright glow coming from the community over here at the Nexus is seen as the beacon of good internet gaming that it is.
Dark0ne predicted the paid mods thing last month and even canceled travel plans to handle things personally the last couple days. Link to Nexus news ... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/news/12454/?
I just want to put this out there ... If donations to individual mod authors is not your thing, think about purchasing Premium or Supporter membership to the Nexus.
I have found two weapons that may need temper option; Stormbringer Rune Sword and Stormbringer Rune Greatsword. Although the rune greatsword appears as an invisible sword in-game, missing texture it would seem.
The invisible Greatsword version of Sotrmbringer gave me some trouble ... had to track down the Mesh pointing to incorrect texture folder and SoT's esp pointing to incorrect mesh folder...
Got it working and added two pictures to show Greatsword and it's temper recipe in use
Now going to pack up this mod's esp to update here.
Thanks to you too Jebbalon, by the way, the FISS work you did for SOT; impressive. How did you get started using FISS? Assuming one must have previous scripting experience to create FISS support for other mods?
GhostAgent and I started working on the SoT McMenu umm... over a year ago!
Along the way I learned the SkyUI MCM scripting. When I was comfortable with that I started looking at FISS and mods that use it. Most of the mods that use fiss also include their source files so by process of comparing those with what SoT would require I was able to write the scripting for it.
Honestly, I really really struggled with it. SoT's scripts are intense - jumping into them was like leaving a submarine at bottom of ocean, then crawling up to surface. In a hurricane! The McMenu alone is over 9000 lines of code. That year plus working on it is no joke!
Great experience though! Learned how to stay above water
That's quite the predicament, cool analogy. Glad I asked, this is helpful information. Creating weapon and armor mods sure sounds easier than meddling with FISS hehe
Hate you. I literally just started a new game with newly redone perma patch. And your recipes from 30 minutes ago. Not the ones 3 seconds ago. I refuse to redo my patch.

Okay, Thanks all,

I'm also going to try adding the Sicarius (spelling?) Armor, it also has no temper recipes.
Added in the recipes to upgrade the swords at the grinding wheel - Question is what material to require? I asked on SoT ... What do you think?
The Sicarius armor is now added as well.
Version 1.3 - will have these and I'll upload tomorrow ...
Got it working and added two pictures to show Greatsword and it's temper recipe in use

I have no clue about PerMa patch though.
Did you see my post on SoTRealms with new mesh for Stormbringer Greatsword and the SleepingDangers-esp will need edit for that as well.
