I haven't tried any mods yet for Karstaag. I found this mod while looking to solve an issue I have with his summoning. When I'm outdoors and use the power to summon him, all I hear is the sound that's played when I can't do a shout yet (have to recharge first). Can he be summoned in Skyrim? Or is he only to be used in Solstheim? And do I have to have a certain level to summon him?
So I've had this power after doing his quest (arena battle), but have never been able to use the power in my game. So I thought maybe this mod might fix that problem.
I noticed I was at quest stage 30 for Summon Karstaag. So I advanced it to 240. Then the Summon Karstaag power began working. And your mod works as well. Great mod, by the way. Let's me try out different ways for killing Karstaag.
Karstaag will summon ice wraiths when his health reaches a certain point (goes for the version you actually battle as well as the summoned version IIRC). That's what you see in the file - you will not be able to summon ice wraiths for yourself with this mod.
You want to have his spirit aid you once more? Be ready to face him again! It's a much more interesting way of dealing with this, since I do agree that infinite Karstaag is way too OP.
I am especially liking the idea of fighting him more than once, rather than summoning him actually. Thanks for the mod!

My Bend Will shout refuses to bend any dragon's wills. I wonder if the two are connected some how in their brokage.

It always bothered me how Karstaag could only be used 3 times
with no opportunity to get the ability back.
